Dr. Bruce Kessel, MD

I went to Dr. Kessel for a personal matter which is probably quite common. He's an academic for sure, but also thoughtfully attentive. He made a slide show to help explain the options of my problem. At first I was thinking,"why so much information?". But then I had my aha moment --- I have options and could be apart of the decision making. After the slide show discussion, he continued by answering my questions, but this time he jotted down notes for me to take home. Who can remember everything! I appreciate the clarity!

What I went to Dr. Kessel for is personal, doesn't have a singular solution but is probably quite common. He's an academic for sure, but he's also thoughtfully attentive. Dr. Kessel had made a slide show to help explain my options. He spoke at an easy pace, giving me room to interject questions. I 'll admit that at first I was wondering "why so much information" . Then I had my aha moment --- he's helping me to be involved. After the slide show discussion, we discussed my options. He re-explained, jotting notes for me to take home. Who can remember everything? I really appreciate his extra efforts . . . and am having definite improvements.

We went to meet Dr. Kessel for the first time just to ask general questions. Our consulting session took only 30 minutes. No medical procedure done yet. He seemed to be a caring doctor. He tried to educate us when explaining how things work to us too. He seemed to be calm and knowledgable in his area of expertise. He's kind and you'll feel at ease talking to him.

He goes beyond expectations. He listened to what I was saying when other MD's ignored it. I did have to go through high risk obstetrics, and be followed more closely because he found the cause of the problem. But because of his close monitoring and concern and care all went well.

Rude staff. The doctor stinks of smoke. He talks alot but does not seem to be very knowledgeable about fertility.
