Dr. Bruce Michael Massaro, MD

I had my procedure two months ago. Ten days after surgery I noted small white bags under the area where surgery had been done. The suture line didn’t have any of these raised areas. I talked to the office nurse and sent pictures over and was told the bags were part of healing process and will go away. I saw the doctor six weeks post surgery and the bags were still present and obvious. He told me there was nothing he could do, my skin must be too thin and I could try Retin-A under my eye and then he left.

Worst doctor visit ever. It was more of a non visit. If I was in his office for more than 3 minutes that would be an over statement. He was arrogant, dismissive, didn't even listen to my problem, didn't want to. He had come to his conclusion before he even saw me. He didn't look at my eyes, I never even took my glasses off. He kept telling me what he thought without even knowing my situation and touching my leg in a creepy way every time he spewed his canned opinion. I went there for help but I lost $100 for the "non-visit" as well as taking off of work for this waste of time. He truly is the most egregious doctor I have ever encountered. If you're considering this MD, do believe all of the negative reviews that he's gotten, based on my experience, they've got to be true and there are most definitely more negative reviews out there that haven't been posted. He's a narcissist that needs to retire, he'd be helping a lot of people in the future if he'd just go away.

I was skeptical of what would happen after Dr. Massaro performed the surgery, but I am very pleased with both the surgery and outcome. THe after effects were nowhere near what I expected (bruising and swelling were minimal). The increase in my vision is outstanding. I'd recommend Dr. Massaro to anyone for this type of surgery.

It is not just coincidence that lots of other doctors and optometrists, etc refer their patients to Bruce Massaro. He's a real master of his craft, and whatever surgery you are needing,, he has done hundreds like it before. He is quick, efficient, to the point, friendly, and personable. I was much less impressed with his staff people, but would still highly recommend him to anyone.

I have had an experience with another doctor who was very nasty. I walked out of that appointment too. This doctor massaro is a narcissistic inhumane person.

It is true that people's various experiences with a doctor can range widely. But if it is important to you to have your questions answered with clarity and respect, and not brusqueness, impatience and rather bizarre repetition of phrases that don't even seem related to what you just asked, then Dr. Massaro is likely not the best choice for you.

I was referred to Dr Massaro, by an optometrist. I had a swelling in my right lower lid. Dr Massaro ,immediately scheduled a biopsy. I was diagnosed with a lymphoma. He recommended an oncologist. I had 6 weeks of radiation and have been cancer free for 7yrs. Thank you Dr Massaro..
