Makes parents feel guilty. Mean to kids and why do they have to undress for a cold? Go order hospital gowns. Very rude Dr with a horrible personality.

When I had my first daughter in 2006, we were a patient of Dr. Mirvis. Absolutely the worst experience. He was extremely rude and told me at our 18 month visit my daughter needed to be evaluated bc she “probably had autism” and then literally walked out of the room. All because she wasn’t talking a lot. Guess what ? She’s been in the gifted program at school since the 3rd grade and is now 12. There has never been anything physicaly or mentally wrong with her. He should lose his license imo

Very Rude and short with mothers...Also RUDE to staff... should consider retiring... should no pratice anymore... he is a horrible person

Nutrition? Don't talk about my daughter being 10 lbs overweight and hand me a diet plan. He is a very obese,rude and downright mean Dr. Early reviews seem like he was the best. Think he needs to retire. Treats parents as if we were all stupid. Shame!

This man is so rude. Wait was long and no extra chair so I sat in his CHAIR and was going to get up when he arrived. Before he even stepped into room he yelled for me to GET OUT OF HIS CHAIR!!!!! He made my child take off his clothes for a sore throat!!!!!! Nothing wrong with child he said> 2 days later we were back and saw Dr Dickson and my child had a double ear infection and severe bronchitis.WAY TO GO DR Mirvis!!!! PLEASE GET RID OF THIS MAN!!!!

This is a doctor? He stood outside the room and talked to resident who was observing for the day and told her my child had mental issues. That was the end of ever seeing him again. Dr Dickson, please get rid of this man who has no compassion for teenagers who suffer from mental illness. She had strep and he yelled at her that she better take all 10 days worth because he didn't want to see her again. Perhaps he and Robin could open up a practice because she can be mean. Kids don't need to hear negatively when they are I'll.

Love the office but am not at all impressed with this doctor. My two year old actually told me she was "mad" because she "didn't like the doctor." He was rough and had her upset almost immediately.

Dr. Mervis was often cold when talking with me when it concerned my son and was down right rude when it came to my daughter. He treated me like an annoyance instead of an informed parent who was looking out for my child and not just trusting him blindly without getting second opinions and doing my own research on what my daughter needed medically. Then when I called to get the shot records for my kids for school their phone was disconnected. I searched for info to find out that they shut down the office and I haven't been able to find any forwarding information or a way to contact them. I loved his nursing and reception staff. They were the only reason I kept going back after first bringing my children to Polaris Pediatrics.

NEVER have I ever been so humiliated, felt so degraded, or so disgusted as when I took my youngest child in for a check up after I believed it was possible strep throat. I lost my insurance from my job and had not yet received new coverage, but made arrangements with office staff before even scheduling an appointment to take care of the matter. Once in a room with my elementary aged child, I heard him discussing her outside the room with his nurse. He began to loudly use profanity, speaking about how children without insurance should not suffer as a result of their idiot parents, but he did not like helping those with state assistance or no coverage. So he didn't understand why his staff would agree to her appointment in the first place. (Though not a genius, I am at least educated with 2 degrees) He came in, did not speak, about gagged her to take a throat culture and left the room with her in tears. When he returned, he provided a prescription for a penicillin based product. First… rule: read your patient charts if not familiar with them! My daughter was severely allergic to penicillin! In my opinion, he needs to rethink why he became a doctor in the first place, learn a better bedside manner, and re-evaluate his behaviors to search for some bit of empathy and compassion for others. While I despise the way he treated my daughter, I must end on a positive note and say that at least his staff has a human element of empathy and truly care about the wellbeing of children.
