If no stars was an option, this is what this people wouldbget frome. Stay away from this place. The doctor was nice enough my first visit a month ago. He ordered me to get mri and i waited a whole month for the office to send authorization to my insurance which never happened. Wasted several trips to get the mri and in the end i had to go see them today for the second time just to complain that i hadn't been able to get the mri done because their office was not sending the insurance the information required. Practitioners Pearl saw me and determined after hearing my complain that i was a bully and she discharged me from their practice with a cop call threat. Said they office staff are not her employees and she cant force them to do authorization. Insane, i have never in my 47 years been treated so poorly. First by their office staff, argumentative and deceitful, plainly lying to you when you call for resolution and ending with this woman who clearly has no concept of what patient care… means and doesnt care about your health. Its all a method to keep u coming as many times as possible to get that 40 bucks out of you until they feel satisfies they've gotten enough before authorizing your exams. Very ignorant. Treat their patients like junkies after they put them on drugs you didnt want to be on to begin with. They dont want to get to the real reason behind your pain, they just want to keep you doped up so they can continue to leach that money out of you month after month. Do youself a favor and find a doctor who actually wants to help you instead of getting you addited on opioids*******

DR. PISZEL and the rest of his staff care more than any doctor I have ever seen. They don't just treat your pain they want to eliminate it when possible I will never leave. You all rock.

Strangely enough, his office in the last 5 days had called my house 10 times to ensure I was ready and able for my appointment. Unfortunately, he was a no show today. Shameful......

Doctor Piszel is the only pain doctor to ever help me in 35 years. I suffered with cervical and spinal pain all that time, and all the treatment I was given was pain pills. This pain doctor relived my pain more than 75%. The problem is still there because I have spondylitis and osteoarthritis, however I now have a spinal cord stimulator that blocks pain signals to the brain. This device has given me a new life. The old life I was pretty much restricted to doing many things I did all my life. In the morning if I wake up with sciatica I just put that program on and the pain melts away in seconds. I can have as many as 16 programs with this implant. Thank you Dr. Piszel for giving me a new life. Some people complain that you have to wait longer than others, well he will take his time with you as well. You just have to wait your turn. Most likely you’ve been in pain a while so waiting a little longer won’t hurt so stop crying about sitting in his office waiting to him. It doesn’t make any… sense to give a doctor a bad review. It makes you look small and very selfish so sit it out and you won’t be sorry. He’s that good.

If I could post a zero, I would. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a medical facility. I was actually referred to this place by one of their patients, and I cannot see a single reason why. My appointment was at 9:30am, and was told to arrive at 9:15 to fill out paperwork. I drove an hour to see this doctor because I was told he was the best. At 10:30 I was still waiting, and asked the lady with red hair behind the desk how much longer, she said she didn’t know, so I asked for my co-pay back. Miraculously I was put into a room immediately after. The nurse that brought me back was extremely nice, at least. After waiting another half hour in the room, I walked to the front and asked for my money back and told her how unprofessional and beyond ridiculous this was. She sat there and told me that was normal to see a specialist... I said that is absolutely NOT true. She continued to argue with me and tell me that I could “try and go somewhere else but I would have to wait… there also.” I said “I drove an hour here, because I was recommended by one of your patients. I have been waiting an hour and 45 minutes. An hour and 45 minutes! I had another person recommend another doctor that I guarantee will NOT be this rude.” I was only there so I could get a set of steroid shots for my lower back. I do NOT recommend this Doctor or office- what a complete waste of my time and money. Do your self a favor and find a real doctor.

Dr. Piszel has been all about my health since day one! I can't remember having a Doctor that wasn't all about money! He is incredibly knowledgeable about Pain care and the accidents, surgeries, treatments, etc. that led up to His involvement. He listens and is extremely supportive. I've had 7 operations, dozens of treatments, injections, tests etc. and have had very fine Doctors along the way. Dr. Piszel is at the top of the list as well!!! I have managed my own Health care for over 20 years doing all the research and learning all I could along the way but now, I just rely on Dr. Piszel! Thank you for reading this and I have no problem speaking to you about why I recommend this Doctor before any other Doctor in Florida!

I have been going to Dr Piszel's for over 4 years. His PA 2 weeks ago and accused me of selling my pain pills. The reason is there has been a few times where my meds didn't show up in my urine test. Nobody had said anything to me. Every time I went he said I was good. Then 2 weeks ago the PA accused me of selling my pain meds. He also said I would be getting a visit from the FBI and be arrested. I have a daughter with cancer and she goes for a lot of doctor visits. Also many tests. So I didn't want to be on my pain meds at that time. I didn't want to chance driving and hurt us or someone else. So I went today and they discharged me. Please if you go to Dr Piszal. Be so careful. Dr Piszel wouldn't even come talk to me and let me tell him what has been going. Thanks all for reading this.

I finally had found a doctor that understood and cared about my pain and quality of life. Things at his office had gotten so bad, waiting for an appointment for over 2 hrs and when you got to see him if he stayed 10 minutes you were lucky. I did it because for the first time I had a doctor that got to know me and my challenges. He had gotten a Nurse Practitioner, my husband seen him also he spent 20yrs in the Army then retired because he picked up a bacteria while on a mission and had numerous surgeries from the military, he was having problems and needed to see the doctor. For 2 appt he seen the NP, the law says he has to be seen by the doctor. I called to make sure he was going to be seen by Dr. Pizsel I told the answering service lady that he had to see the doctor and if FDA found out he would be in trouble. I was trying to remind him, I don't know what she told him but when my husband went in for his appointment the office manager pulled him in her office she said he couldn't… be seen there anymore because the doctor couldn't help him. When it was time for my appt the same thing happened. I was on a program that was working so I was surprised. I have a doctor now who has taken almost all my meds away and we are talking about getting a pump that goes in my stomach and releases medication. I'm so scared but feel I have no choice. What happened Dr. Pizsel what did we do that was so wrong?

Dr.Piszel was very charming and he made you feel comfortable which I really liked. Staff very friendly and nice. Office very clean.
