Dr. Schwartz and his staff at Advance Ophthalmology of Michiana were fantastic. Dr. Schwartz is very professional and caring. He explained all options and answered all my questions. The staff were very polite and always very caring and helpful. Dr. Schwartz performed cataracts surgery on both my eyes. The procedures went extremely well. My pre and post op care was super. The surgery was performed at Allied Surgery Center and the staff was very attentive and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Schwartz and Advance Ophthalmology for anyone’s eye care needs.

Terrible demeanor and unsatisfactory explanation of situations. The office staff lies to patients causing harm. Also beware that they send bills to collection after 2nd bill.

I could not ask for better care. I had a fungal infection in my cornea, and Dr. Schwartz was very caring and informative about the progress of the healing. At one point, he sent me to another specialist because he felt they could give him information he couldn’t get with his own testing. It was a very long journey and I am thankful that God made Dr. Schwartz part of the story. His staff, as well as the front office staff, were fabulous too. I still face surgery down the road and look forward to working with him on that issue.

If your situation is such that he can't handle it, he doesn't send you on to another doctor. You end up suffering the consequences.
