Dr. Bruce G Valauri, DDS

Bruce G. Valauri is a 1983 graduate of New York University            
College of Dentistry. He completed his General Practice, Prosthodontic and Maxillofacial Prosthetic residencies at the New York Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 1987.
Dr. Valauri is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics (ABP), a Fellow and Past President of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP), Fellow and President Elect of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics (GNYAP), Northeastern Gnathological Society (NGS) and formerly, Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University College of Dentistry. He is currently the Director of the Graduate Prosthodontic  Residency program at the New York VAMC. Care and Service for our Veterans

Over the past 25 years, Dr. Valauri has lectured nationally and internationally in the areas of implant prosthodontic biomechanics, complete dentures and maxillofacial prosthetics.
Dr. Bruce Valauri's  father, Augustus, was an …oral and maxillofacial surgeon, as well as a pioneer in maxillofacial prosthetics. He was a founding member of the internationally renowned New York University Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (IPRS). He was a dedicated Professor at both NYU Medical and Dental schools. He served as the past President of the AAMP and GNYAP. He  authored many textbook chapters and articles in maxillofacial prosthetics.
Through his kindness, curiosity, nurturing, humanity, devotion and modesty, Dr. Augustus J. Valauri has inspired a generation of dedicated clinicians whose  goal is to improve the quality of life for all the patients and families we have the opportunity to care for.
He remains as my standard of excellence that I continually strive to achieve in my own practice.
