Dr. Bruce Robert Yalowitz, MD

A disgrace to the medical field. I went to see Dr. Yalowitz on May 28, 2020 with pain on my right and left flank and I was urinating 25 times a day. I had severe pain and was laying in a fetal position. When I saw the doctor he did not give me a cup to urinate in to take a culture test. He asked me why I wanted a cup and I told him I think I have a kidney stone. I told him I was drinking a lot of water and he laughed and said when you drink a lot of water you urinate a lot. I left the office after getting no antibiotics and was still in severe pain. I called the office quite a few times the next day and got no response. Finally I talked to Dr. Yalowitz and he sent me to St. Catherines for lab work and urine tests. I then called him back upset and asked why did I have to go to the hospital for lab work when you have a lab in your office. He got cocky and said I don't care about your results, you have somebody else read your results and you are no longer my patient. Went to… my GP and I have a cysts on my Kidney. Why couldn't I get that answer from my Urologist. This doctor is the WORSE!!!

Dr. Yalowitz was wonderful. He was spot on with his diagnosis of bladder cancer, and has the best bedside manner. He was never in a hurry, and always took plenty of time answering our questions. We always knew we were in the best of hands. I would highly recommend dr. Yalowitz to any family member or friend of mine.

I am a 70+ yo woman with a long history of UTI's, sometimes with a drug resistant organism. Also had kidney infection & hospitalized for 3 days. I have received excellent, caring and efficient care from Dr. Y. He is thorough and systematic in pursuing possible reasons for my complaints, ordering the diagnostic tests , and the Rx needed to deal with my infections. He has always been personable and responsive to my concerns and follows up in a very timely manner either by immediate texts or personal phone calls. His office staff is very pleasant and obviously well trained in customer/patient service. As an R.N and O.T.R. I am well acquainted with health care professionals and what should be the standard of care. I am pleased to recommend Dr. Yalowitz - for female urologic needs.

Very arrogant and rude. Terrible bedside manor. Was unwilling to listen to my concerns, kept interrupting to interject his opinions. Spent more time on the lap top then listening. Seemed to become agitated the more questions I tried to ask. The whole appointment I felt rushed except when he took the time to fill out the sheet to charge my insurance. Big waste of my time and money. Would NOT refer this Dr. to any family or friends.

I came into the hospital on a Saturday night. He was on call and I was in terrible pain with a kidney stone. He called me that night, arranged for a procedure the next day if I did not pass the stone and I was happy as I was miserable the next day. He performed a stone extraction in the morning and I was home in the afternoon. Glad that there are still some doctors that care about patients, and he is one of them! Highly recommend to family and friends.

I had blood in my urine. He did an efficient workup, found that I had bladder cancer and took care of the problem. I am fine and was very happy with his honest and straight forward demeanor. Highly recommend. Excellent EMR and the printout gave me tons of information.

I was having issues urinating, he tried conservative therapy and ultimately I made the decision to have surgery (bipolar TURP). It was the right decision for me. I was in the hospital overnight, went home and am now urinating better than ever. On top of that, I agree the clinical summary from their EMR is the best and gives tons of information about what occurred during my visits and also references their website which is an excellent informational tool. Highly recommend to my friends and family.

I came in very scared about my problem. He put me at ease, explained everything thoroughly, and ordered tests and discussed the possibilities. It turned out to be a kidney stone. He treated the problem, it went great, and I couldn't be happier. Would certainly recommend him to my friends. On top of that, their clinical summary from their EMR tells me everything about the visit and gives specific information about me. A refreshing change from the norm. Very satisfied

I had an elevated PSA and was found to have prostate cancer. He was candid, told me the facts, and gave me a fair and balanced choice of the options. A refreshing change from just telling me "what I wanted to hear". I listened, asked questions, made the decision we mutually agreed upon and am very pleased with the results. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
