Dr. Bryan David Bowen, MD

I think Dr. Bowen, his nurses and extended staff are exceptional at all things. I love how they treat me.

Dr. Bowen is a very great and caring doctor, he take the time to listen and not rush you out the door. I love Dr. Bowen he is my number one Doctor and he is such a hunk! Lol!

My husband refused to see a doctor for years, until I got him in to see Dr. Bowen. We believe Dr. Bowen has to be one of the kindest most educated doctors in Texarkana. After w weekend emergency with my husband and a trip to a local hospital and thousands of dollars worth of test and them scheduling appointments with specialist and they diagnosed my husband with Lupus. My husband was not getting better and we got him back to see doctor Bowens and within minutes of seeing my husband he told him he was having a severe allergic reaction to his blood pressure meds. He canged his meds and my husband has done wonderful! SMART DOCTORS, are obviously hard to find, especially with the added bonus of being caring and friendly!

They sort out who they will accept as patients by what insurance you have. If you have any insurance connected to Obama Care the doctors don't like to accept you as a patient. During my visit with Bowen I felt like he didn't care for me being there because of my insurance. He barely checked my problem and I felt like he did as little as possible, I felt very uneasy with him. I never had to be accepted before the Obama Care came about. I see that is also a problem with other clinics too, to have to be approved to see the doctor, which is saying, what insurance do you have first.

I had a cerebellar stroke and left my pcp for Dr Bowen on recommendation. I was miserable. everytime I sat up stood up I would get dizzy an sick to my stomach. Dr Bowen wanted me to try something called Scopolamine Patches or motion sickness patches. Sounds odd but it doesn't. Of course feeling the way I did and the fact that a Dr thought OUTSIDE the box ! It has almost been two years and with the exception of the last week of the end of the month and the first couple of days of the first part of the next month when the insurance puts a hold on the patches and wants to know why I need them and if they really help . While I am at home stumbling sick to my stomack , dizzy and just miserable as all can be. All they need to do is refer to last months notes, but God forbid they overlook their budget. Dr Bowen YOU are a PEOPLES' DR and THANK YOU from the bottom of my SOUL!

Dr Bowen has been my doctor for over 15 years. He is simply the best! Straight-forward, NICE, patient, and accessible. Highly recommend!!

I THINK DR.BOWEN IS A GREAT DOCTOR, YOU CAN BE THE BEST DOCTOR IN THE WORLD ,BUT IF YOU DONT HAVE BEDSIDE MANNERS YOU ARE NOT A GOOD DOCTOR . HE IS A GOOD DOCTOR WITH A PLUS HE HAS BEDSIDE MANNERS ALSO I HIGHLY FAVOR AND RECOMMEND HIM .

I am a fairly new patient of Dr. Bowen's and I appreciate him accepting me as such. Overall, my personal opinion of him is good. He seems to be very caring and willing to spend the time with you that you require. I did however tell him 3 times this last time what I felt was wrong with me and it took the third time for him to do the test to ascertain that I was correct. My main problem with this office is not only attempting to book an appointment, but the time spent waiting to see the doctor. Today, I was on "Hold" on the phone for almost 20 minutes, just trying to make an appointment...not satisfactory. My last visit, I waited over TWO HOURS in the office to see Dr. Bowen. The time before that it was an hour and a half. I understand that emergencies arise and if that was the case, it would take 30 seconds for a member of the office staff to step into the waiting room and say, "I'm sorry for the delay. We've had an emergency and Dr. Bowen will be with you just as soon as possible." A… little bit of courtesy goes a long way. My time is valuable as well!
