If you could list all the good qualities which you would want in a doctor you will find them all in Dr. Burns. I have been a patient of his for 5 years. Throughout that time I have had multiple office visits as well and several procedures/scopes. He has a great bedside manner. He is warm and caring, but also funny and puts me at ease. I have seen other doctors over the years but no one has treated me as well or talked with me as a person, not just a patient! He even asks me what else is going on in my life besides my health. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Burns and have referred many friends and family members.

I usually dont write reviews, but Ive had such a great experience that I wanted to let people know.I have been having food get stuck for years! And most of the doctors Ive met are quick to give me a pill and get me out the door. And nothing worked! But Dr. Burns spent time with me listening to my symptoms and discussing the different possibilities. Then he scheduled an endoscopy which couldn't have gone smoother! I had been worried for years about nothing! And he diagnosed me with an ALLERGIC condition that was causing my problems. NOT GERD like Id always been told! He put me on a treatment regimen and I am finally swallowing normally again! Its really changed my life - Im no longer afraid to eat!Thank you Dr. Burns for taking the time to listen and finding the right diagnosis after all these years!!

I have been a patient of Dr Burns since 2005. He is always talking with you as and equal and will hold your hand while nervious until you go under sedation. He always happy to see you and you never feel rushed or that your problem is not of highest propority. I had an experience of high anxiety and I was completely dehidration from prep. I suspected I was dehydrated and Dr Burns believed me and immediately gave me IV fluids to help and then put me to sleep. He held my hand and calmed me down. That's how medicine should work. He is smart, never gives up on you. Without a doubt, one of the best doctors I have had the privilege to know.

I just had my routine colonoscopy with Dr. Burns. His initial consultation was very informative and I immediately liked his personality. My procedure was performed at the Fairfield County Endoscopy Center and went very smoothly. The staff there were very nice and professional. Dr. Burns spoke to me beforehand and made me feel at ease.
