Dr. Bryan E Labuda, DO

I wish I could give zero stars. Seeing him for my visit not only traumatized me so much that here I am still upset about it all of these years later, but reading these other reviews validates that I wasn’t crazy. I went to him after my insurance changed and I could no longer go to the midwives downtown. I heard great things about the Sewickley practice so I decided to try it. I had a random accident rupture my water during my first childbirth and I really wanted to go for a VBAC because there was no reason for me not to and the c-section recovery was terrible for me so I was putting all of my effort into staying positive and doing what I needed to do for a VBAC with my second child. My husband came with me to my first appointment and here are the things that were said to me: “I could have told you the second you said midwives that you were going to have a c-section because of them”. (It wasn’t their fault) “Oh, I see you don’t like having sex on your back, huh?” (As he performed my… pelvic exam) “You have what we call an android pelvis and you’re not getting more than a 5-6lb baby out of that thing, so, mark the time and date right now sister, I’m telling you you’re having another c-section”. After feeling violated and having an anxiety attack, I immediately did everything I needed to do to switch back to midwives and successfully had an 8lb+ VBAC after that. Don’t listen to these creeps who are in it for the c-section money and don’t actually give a crap about you. I complained to the staff, who at least pretended to be very receptive, and even had the office manager follow up with me to say even she went to midwives and this isn’t the first time someone has complained. Yet nothing was done and this man still treats women. Hoe many complaints does it take? How has nothing been done?!

Any good reviews on this Dr are definitely fake or completed by his staff. RUN FAR from his practice. He is negligent, arrogant, and does not follow standard practice. He could care less if you survive your miscarriage and brushes off your concerns. He is incompetent and dangerous. I hope he loses his license after the number of babies that have died in his care.

Do not see this man. He does not listen to you or the other members of his team. He does not care about your opinion, wants or needs, and has no interest in what you are asking or saying. Too worried about going to lunch than making sure you are heard and taken care of. Ruined my life because he couldn't be bothered to go make another phone call, to really hear me or compromise when there was nothing wrong other than the fact that he didn't care at all what I wanted or the other members of his team were saying/suggesting. His way or the highway, with no consideration for what you've been through, are asking or saying. I should've had a say but he is not interested in giving you one.

I wrote about Dr.Labuda and forgot to say how good Dana is who works as his nurse. Dana has always been nice,and puts u at ease..and is adiment about returning yr calls..she is a great asset.

Dr. Labuda doesn’t not take the time to get to know his patients. I visited him after a trip to the ER where i was told i most likely have a ruptured ovarian cyst. He just pushed birth control at me. He did not ask my symptoms or even if i was feeling better after my ER trip. He told me to take birth control and left the room after not even two minutes.

If I could give my experience no stars, I would. I usually see a woman dr. in the Sewickley office but was just going for a problem with my birth control so I was open to seeing anyone. The nurse had asked me about why I was there and passed the message onto Labuda. He didn’t care to ask me questions or ask me about the problems I was having. When I mentioned that I wanted to look at a different form of birth control and recommended one that I was interested in, he disregarded my interest and told me about a different form instead, which I have no interest in, and he basically told me that’s the better option. But said this to me without asking me any questions. Was there for less than 10 min. He was rude and I would never see him again. After reading reviews and having my own experience, thank god I didn’t have an exam with him. Should have looked into it before I went.

I switched to Dr. LaBuda after a female doctor in the same practice made an inappropriate remark to me during an exam years ago. I personally appreciate his sense of humor and personality - it helps to calm my anxieties and lighten the mood a little during exams. When I have questions or concerns, he is extremely professional and takes time to address them, which helps to put my mind at ease!!

i went in for an appointment,first time seeing bryan labuda. i have anxiety really bad and at the time i wasn't doing so well because my fiance had to work and couldn't go to the appointment with me. the doctor rushed the whole time and then had the nerve to say 'come on, you're more flexible than that' as i was getting my cervix checked and my legs weren't open enough. really unprofessional i felt violated afterwards, in fact he did nothing at all to comfort as a doctor should. terrible experience

I have been going to this practice for over 20 years. Dr. Labuda delivered my second child 15 years ago and I have continued to see him since. I have been extremely pleased with him. He is always thoughtful and professional and friendly. He absolutely listens when I have concerns. I recommend him to everyone. I see him in the Sewickley Office.
