Dr. Bryan Edward Mcgill, MD

After trying for 2 1/2 years to get a diagnosis and a not-so-impressive past ordeal with another doctor at Children's neurology dept., our family doctor convinced us to give Children's one more chance before going to Riley's in Indy. My daughter's old daughter was no longer working in the pediatric neurology dept. and Dr. McGill personally returned my call. He had my daughter's records in front on him and talked at length to me about her condition. He set up more testing, which was done promptly, and again personally called us with the results of those tests. He did more for us in a couple of phone calls than the old doctor did in 5 days of a hospital stay and a battery of tests that included some that was admittedly "not accurate" because they had to sedate my daughter to do them. Dr. McGill started my daughter on medicine to prevent further SEIZURES and agreed to take her on as a new patient. Our follow-up appointment is in the near future. All this from a doctor who has yet to meet… us in person! So, I could not rate his "bedside manner" yet, but any doctor who makes his own phones calls is impressive. And I can't honestly say how long the wait time in his office is as we have not yet our visit. That being said, though, from what we have witnessed so far, we would highly recommend Dr. McGill!
