We went in because my son has trouble hearing and after a failed hearing test we were scheduled to see Dr. McRea. Dr. McRea had already deiced what his diagnosis and course of treatment would be without doing an exam or asking any questions. After the exam he decided we needed another hearing test. My son guessed and "passed" the first test, but when he was asked to repeat words to the audiologist he failed because he wasn't able to lip read for the test. Instead of listening to the audiologists concerns that he couldn't hear and the first test that he "passed" was unreliable, Dr. McRea told us come back in 4-6 months to reevaluate if he needed tubes put in his ears even though I said I didn't think he needed them. I took him to another Dr. the next week and found out that he has permanent hearing loss and needs hearing aids.
