Dr. Bryan K Rone, MD

What ever you do Do Not let Bryan K. Rone be your OBGYN. Especially if you are a person of color. He is the rudest most disrespectful ob I’ve ever had. He completely dismissed me and my health issues. He falsified information in my chart. And lied to me. I have filed a complaint with the hospital. And will continue to let anyone know to stir clear of him as a provider.

Great OB/Gyn. Nothing but praise. Highly recommended. I felt cared for and felt like Dr. Rone was a partner in my care.

Dr. Rone has been great to my family. He is my OB doctor and my mother’s gyn doctor. He has always been pleasant, competent, compassionate. He seems to enjoy his role in our healthcare.

My grandmother had an 11:15am appt. with Dr. Bryan Rone. She was a few miutes late for the apt due to ice on the roads. She traveled over 3 hours one way to be seen. When she arrived they called the doctor and he said he refused to see her due tot the fact she was a few minutes late. I find this unacceptable, my grandmother has money and insurance as well. I have read other reviews where he doesn't like to accept state funded patients. I want to warn anyone who is debating on making an appt. You better be on time and not a minute late or else you will be turned away. I am in the health care business as well and this is not acceptable. Now my grandmother is refusing to travel there to be seen and we as a family are at our wits end!

I highly recommend Dr. Rone and his staff. I was very pleased with the outcome of my surgery.

I was sent to Dr. Rone by my family doctor. He talked to me about my problems and made a treatment plan. He explained things so that I understood them. He fixed my problem, but if I have another female issue I will return to see him.

This doctor did a prolapse surgery, hysterectomy and bladder suspension for me. I always thought it was strange that he never took the time to explain the surgical procedure to me before and after the surgery he sent me home within 24 hours, even though my pain was not anywhere near under control. He did not send home adequate pain medication to relieve the pain and when I called back to ask for something (anything) I was treated like I was a drug addict. I stayed in pain for 3 weeks (mostly with my bladder which I had a history of problems with) and when I could not take it anymore I called to see if I could see him. I went the very next day and when they saw the amount of blood in my urine he came in (very smuggly) and listened to my problems but never offered any explanation or any advice of what could be causing the pain. He did call me in bladder spasm medication and when I ask him to make sure his name was on this prescription because medicaid would not cover the medication… I already received because his assistant had signed it and we had been out of pocket for over 100.00 so far he said he would but as he was leaving the room BEFORE the door was even shut, he held up my chart and said "Well here is another prescription the tax payers wll have to pay for" the nurses all laughed and told him to calm down because they knew how angry he got about it and not to let it ruin his day. I left in tears and went straight to UK hospital administration and filed a full report of all I had been thru and after that statement I realized why I was sent home before I was ready, why enough pain medication or antibiotics was given to me or why he would never take more than 3 minutes in the room to explain or answer question. Because I was on medicaid. I had never been on medicaid in my life but my husband's job left the country and he became disabled and I could not afford 600.00 a month for insurance on me. I only have medicaid for 1 year to get some serious health problems fixed. I have worked and paid taxes since I was 16 and so has my husband. I think what Dr Rone done to me was cruel and I am sure I am not the only medicaid patient that this has been done to. However, he picked on the wrong person this time. I am determined to make my situation an example for all the women that may have not spoke up!!!
