Dr. Bryan J Traughber, MD

I was referred to Dr. Bryan Traughber by UH Seidman Cancer Center at UH Westlake Health Center for Brachytherapy. He is very professional. Will answer all your questions. Has a very upbeat personality that makes you feel very comfortable immediately when you are around him. What I really liked about him is that most Dr's will explain the procedures they plan to do to you in great detail.But most don't cover possible side affects related to the procedures and the aftermath. Dr Traughber explained fully the risk of the procedures, Took the time to make sure I fully understood everything. Each patient is different and each patient will have different experiences when it comes to the procedure. In my case my first two visits were less than pleasant ( not because of the Dr or the staff) But due to pain levels.Dr Traughber was really worried about the level of pain I was experiencing during the procedure and actually took the time to consult with head of Anesthesiology to see what he could… do to reduce my pain levels with medication. The last two appointments I had for the procedure were pain free. He really does care about his patient , their well being, their comfort levels. Can't ask for a better Dr. I highly recommend him
