Dr. Steven Dan Gresswell, MD

Prior to starting my Radiation Treatment Plan at the DGMC, Radiation - Oncology Clinic, I was diagnosed with High Risk Prostate Cancer at the VA Mather Medical Center Urology Clinic. Almost immediately, I was scheduled to be seen at Dr. Creswell’s office, DGMC. During my first office visit in August 2022, I must admit the thought of facing another cancer issue was weighing pretty heavy on my shoulders. However, the strong-genuine concern for my well-being shown by Dr. Gresswell started to prepare me for the next 10 weeks of Radiation Treatment and beyond. I was reading a lot in preparation for what was to come but that all seemed secondary to the unshakeable approach to my individual cancer treatment plan. A compassionate medical practitioner Dr. Gresswell is highly skilled in Radiation/Oncology, one that listens consults, and guides his medical staff is truly the physician any cancer patient would want on his/her team.

From the very first visit I liked Dr. Gresswell as a person. He gave me a tour of the facility, introduced his wonderful staff and made me feel hopeful about my situation. I found him extremely pleasant, personable, caring, knowledgeable, and thorough. He was generous with his time, never seemed rushed, and explained things in such detail that I had few questions he didn't anticipate. He exudes confidence and genuine concern and unlike some, he actually seems to enjoy his work and has a sense of humor he isn't afraid to show. He and his amazing staff display their competence and sincerity .every visit in the way they put you at ease and willingly do the little things that make you feel special. Dr. Gresswell and his crew are an all too rare a combo in todays medical world. I give them two thumbs way up across the board.

I met Dr Gresswell after completing Stage III Lung Cancer treatment. He was very friendly and it seemed like I already new him. His demeanor was really uplifting. He said I've seen your recordsand I've been wanting to meet you. Which made me feel really good. His next question gave me a real sense of accomplishment. He asked "how did you beat that Cancer? That is truly amazing. Each of my following visits with were the same. I don't know how but appointment time goes so fast with him. I very happy to be one of his patients. Clarence D. I have been receiving radiation treatments intermittently since Feb 2019 at the Keesler Air Force base medical center. I see Dr. Gresswell and his staff. I have been treated just like family. Dr. Gresswell explains my diagnosis and treatments very well. He will show us my Xray films and explains the treatments to us. Dr. Gresswell has called me personally and talked with me regarding my treatments. I look forward to one day there will be no more cancer.

Dr. Gresswell makes the patient feel that the HealthCare Provider truly CAREs about them. When my father was diagnosed with melanoma after removal of some lymph nodes, this was a confusing and overwhelming time. Dr. Gresswell was thorough, yet explained in easily understood language, the medical situation and the possible treatments. Dr. Gresswell took on the central role of coordinating between all the doctors involved dermatologist, oncologist, pathologist, orthopedic oncologist and discussed the tumors with them and followed up on all the results from the other specialists...he ensured my father's medical situations did not fall through the crack. What a comfort to have a Medical expert ensuring all the pieces are pulled together, all labs needed are completed, and that my father saw other experts that were needed. He was my father's health advocate as well as his oncology radiation doctor. Dr. Gresswell genuinely cares about his patients whom he treats with dignity, concern,… and respect. His explanations of the complicated radiology images is so informative to the patient. I appreciate Dr. Gresswell taking the lead role in my father's cancer treatments. Overall: Knowledgeable, professional, competent, caring, compassionate, thorough, honest and committed to the care of his patients which is comforting to the patient, family, and caretakers.
