Dr. Robert Gerard Swanton, MD

Swanton gave me the creeps. Felt extremely uncomfortable with him in the examination room and no nurse chaperone. He treated me like I was not a person and just another piece of meat to paw over.

If I had known what I know now, I would have never gone to Dr. Swanton, or his clinic. I was very uncomfortable in the exam room with him and in fact he gave me the creeps. Never was there a nurse present and his demeaner just freaked me out.

On first visit, nurse came in a wanted me to undress for a physical exam and told my husband and daughter (an RN) to leave. I told the nurse, "No they stay". Swanton comes tearing in the room and says nothing, but just reaches up and jerks my exam gown open. Then had the audacity to tell all of us that Slidell Radiation Center was proud of the fact that they were the "ONLY" Radiation Oncology clinic in the New Orleans area to have an all female staff for female patients which was an out and out lie. Went in for simulation and here I am nude from the groin up and in walks a man and starts taking photographs of me. I would never recommend him, or the Slidell Radiation Center to anybody!
