Dr Vekovius diagnosed my problem and preformed surgery that was very successful and painless. He and his office staff are extremely professional and knowledgable and willing to serve in any necessary way. I could not more pleased.

I have been seeing Dr. Vekovius for a few months. On my first visit, I was losing sight in my right eye. I was referred to Dr. Vekovius because my regular ophthalmologist could not determine the reason. Dr. Vekovius was very concerned and focused on treating my declining sight. After taking various test, he was able to get the issue under control. Thanks to God and Dr. Vekovius, most of my sight has returned. Also, Dr. Vekovius has a heavy patient load. My understanding is that there are only two neuro-ophthalmogist in the area. So when I am there for my appointments, I just wait patiently until the staff gets to me, because other patients have to be seen. Dr. Vekovius is an awesome doctor and I highly recommend him to anyone with unresolved eye issues.

Dr. Vekovius helped me when several other doctors took so much time with referrals that by the time he saw me I had an infection so bad it had to be drained and tear duct reconstructed. I felt completely safe with his diagnosis and what was done to repair it.

Dr. Vekovius is awesome. I was having double vision and he performed surgery to correct it. I now see perfectly. He explained everything to me prior to the surgery and I can’t say enough good things about him.

He is on top of game, and very professional. Both his office and the surgery center he uses are efficiently ran. I would highly recommend him. In summary he is the BEST.

The first time I saw Dr. Vekovius he identified the cause of a recurring eye problem I had been having and prescribed a successful course of treatment, something that no other eye doctor was able to do. As I have become older he has been very attentive to age related eye conditions I might develop and has made sure I am guarded against them. I trust his judgment completely.

I met with Dr. Vekovius today and was very impressed by him. He was kind and attentive and truly seemed to care about getting me back to feeling normal.

I probably owe my life to Dr. Vekovius and I definitely would have spent another 5 to 10 years before I got a diagnosis if it wasn’t for him. I went through a roller coaster of doctors before landing with Dr. Vekovius, each doctor came up with an idea, ran some test, then shrugged their shoulders when their idea didn’t pan out. Dr. Vekovius doesn’t know the word defeat and has no problem completely changing directions if the test results point to something different. He threw out a wide net looking for the cause of my vision loss and neurological issues and within 2 months and 3 or 4 visits I’m now steps away from a diagnosis of MS (after 100’s of visits with other specialist). Another thing I love about Dr. Vekovius is that he is not afraid to say something is out of his specialty. He found abnormal clotting results and a congenital heart defect that could have caused a stroke and he sent me straight out to the top cardiologist and hematologist to investigate. The spinal tap came back… positive indicating MS and off I go to a MS specialized Neurologist. Thanks Dr. Vekovius for being the quarterback/advocate I needed to get me through this!

Dr. Vekovoius made my right eye even with my left eye. With a protruding right eye, and both are even after several eye surgeries I thank the Lord for Dr. Vekovoius and the gift of being a medical doctor. I look good, I feel good, and all my family and friends notice the difference.
