Dr. Wall earned his undergraduate degree in biology at The University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with honors. During this time, he was on the Dean’s List and was a College Scholar in Natural Sciences. He then went on to earn his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and finished in the top rankings of his class.After completing his internship and residency in General Surgery at Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, Dr. Wall completed two fellowships – the most advanced training a doctor can receive in a medical specialty in the United States. Dr. Wall’s first fellowship at Louisiana State University Medical Center – New Orleans (LSUMC) was in microsurgery. He did another fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the Buncke Clinic in San Francisco, CA with the “Father of …Microsurgery”, Harry Buncke, Jr., MD. In San Francisco he gained clinical experience in hand surgery, microsurgery and general plastic and reconstructive surgery.Dr. Wall completed his training at LSUMC – New Orleans in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He is an expert in Cosmetic Surgery and Breast Surgery performing State of the Art techniques pioneered at LSU. Dr. Wall’s research has been published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the Journal of Louisiana State Medical Society. He has also given medical presentations related to breast reconstruction and laser resurfacing.
