Dr. Karl Kristofer Bilderback, MD

Was very rude and condescending to me and after an x-ray of my hand told me there was nothing he could do except tell me to do some stretches and if that didn't work, come back in six months; even after I told him I've had x-rays before and we know my bones are not the problem, it's the muscles and tendons in the hand! And before the examination I was asked why I "needed the injury fixed" and I mentioned I played a musical instrument and can no longer play to my full potential and would like to do so and when I said it wasn't professionally, I felt as though if I had just said that I played professionally, I might have been treated with better care entirely. I left the appointment angry and still with the problem in tow.

I called as a referral from Tricare. With the letter of referral received on my end they refused to schedule me an appointment as their records did not show a doctor listed on my referral to their clinic. I informed them that I was looking at the letter right now with Dr. Bilderback's name on it. They said they would not schedule an appointment unless it showed on their system. I informed them that even on the Tricare Website that his name is listed and I was happy to email them a copy. Again, they refused. When I asked them what I should do to get their system updated they had no answer. Again, I offered to email the letter....but they refused again. If you are a referral for Military or Tricare, steer clear. They will not lift a finger to help you.

We have never experienced a more degrading , humiliating experience as the one we had with this man whom I would not even call a doctor. During a recent office visit this man talked to myself and my mother with such disrespect and contempt until it was necessary to file a formal complaint. When we were asking necessary questions regarding his treatment plan, this man started yelling at us!! Frankly his actions put us into shock and we were afraid not knowing what he would do next. It is my opinion that he should not be practicing medicine and pretend like he cares for people when based on the experience I had with him, it seemed to be quite the opposite. He stormed out of the office which we are glad that he fired himself from finishing the job because it only took us 5 minutes to see his true color and it is pure evil based on the way he treated us in his office. If you are looking for a specialist that is respectful, go to another hand specialist because he is not the one. Rude,… nasty, and down right despicable.

He is great. I have never had to wait long. Great bed side manor. I have had 2 surgeries and have been very please. With Dr. Billderback and his staff.

Excellent experience

As the surgical procedure became an apparent disaster in its result, the dr. seemed less able to have a plan to correct his failure, even advice on who else I might turn to for help. The operation proved at this time to be something I would never want to do again and I'm sure dr. would not want to be reminded of my condition

WHEN YOU HAVE 2 SURGERIES FOR THE SAME COMPLAINT AND ITS STILL NOT FIXED AND DR BILDERBACK SAYS WELL I DONT KNOW AND RELEASES YOU LIKE THER IS NOTHING ELSE WRONG THEN I DO WOULD NOT RECCOMEND HIM AT ALL.

Really appreciate the amount of time that Dr. Bilderback and staff spent with me and the work he did on my forearm was amazing!

The office staff was courteous, my appointment was at 10:15 and I was in the exam room at 10:25. The doctor was in the room at 10:30. His diagnosis must have been correct, because the treatment worked, and I am fine now. Highly recommend this doctor.

This man is rude and does not listen and some of the stuff he says is not medically sound
