Dr. Pierce Dalton Nunley, MD

As a 62 year old woman with kyphosis/rotating scoliosis, my options for treatment were running low due to my age and degenerative progressions within my spine. Dr. Nunley performed a 360 surgery procedure fusing my spine from T3 all the way down to China I think, lol! Total of 34 screws or so but who's counting. I am soooo thankful for him and his Gifted hands for he is truly Blessed as a specialist surgeon. Although I wanted to die immediately afterwards,haha, my outcome has been very rewarding thanks totally to Dr Nunley.With God as his Help in the O.R.,he performed a miracle on my spine. I recommend him to anyone who is facing dilemmas regarding spine surgery. He will talk openly and direct with you. He will answer any questions.You can rest assured he will help you IF he can. We have to realize that not all patients require spine surgery or can be helped by it. Previous surgeries may or may not be candidates for additional surgery. You will be fully explained as to those… situations. I am now 2years post op and yes, I still have some pain but not nearly as much and now located in only one particular area. Spine degenerative disease is always going to leave you with some pain. Injuries to your back will always leave you with some pain.Surgery will not completely eliminate it. Do NOT blame the surgeon if you still have some pain afterwards lol! Our bodies were wonderfully made by God but sooo many things can affect our spines. Surgery is not a "fix all". But surgery can indeed be a "change all" for the good. I have been blessed by having Dr Nunley and his staff ,especially Mike and Chris, as my caregivers and advisors. Dr Nunley comes highly recommended by me because I believe him to be a gifted surgeon who is highly favored by God in his passion of helping others.

I have 2 herniated disk in my neck with cord compression, and nerve root impengment. He will not do surgery due to the fact that he says that it wont help. He told me that I have a problem, and that I am somehow going to have to learn to live and cope with it. I am on narcotic pain medication now, so I guess thats what I have to look forward to for the rest of my life. How depressing.

Best medical care I have ever had. I can not sat enough about the entire facility. Everyone top notch care. Yes he is busy and you may have wait a bit but the care is worth it.

If you are this is not the Dr. to see. He only gives you ultrums for pain. And it had no effect on the pain at all! He didn't care. And you will see his N.P. most of the visits. So you will probably see him the first time and that's about it.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DR. AT ALL HE MAY BE GOOD BUT HE WILL NOT HELP YOU WITH THE PAIN AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!

i found dr. nunley just looking online. i got a appointment in two weeks, and i was told i would never get in, two month wait. he is touted as one of the best lower lumbar sureon,s around so he did the whole test,s thing and told me right on the table after last test, he was sorry but he could not operate because to much of spine was damaged to even fuse. he told me i would have to be on a chronic med mgt. i really appreciate him telling what he saw
