Dr. Bryan Robert Wieck, MD

I first met Dr. Wieck when I voluntarily admitted myself into Red River for a major breakdown. I was already a patient at Rose Street and I was very grateful that Dr. Wieck was the one that took over my case from the nurse practitioner. I see him regularly to go over the medications and he listens, we make a plan, and set an appointment for 3 months down the road to reevaluate my conditions. I trust his knowledge and his years of experience. I have been a patient of his for about 10 years. I have never trusted a doctor to stick with them as long as I have with Dr. Wieck.

Since there is nowhere for a drs office to defend itself I am responding here- to the person who wrote we lack compassion and just say to go to Red River Hosp in a crisis situation- our office is not an emergency office and we are therefore told by the dr's to state this since they do see patients there as well. we want to make sure you get to a safe place since his private office is not a crisis center.

Dr. Bryan Wick is a good doctor. However, the staff lacks compassion but customer service skills. When a patient calls the doctos clinic that they feel like they might hurt themselves, they answer receiptionst gives "you need to go the the red river hospital", I don't see any compassion in that, do you?

Dr. Wieck is very soft spoken and knowledgeable. A good listener, he spends a good deal of time with me at each visit, thoroughly examining my concerns and his. He tries very hard to be fair, and gives me every opportunity to share my thoughts and opinions, while evaluating the situation and making appropriate changes when necessary. I appreciate Dr. Wieck. I think he is a good doctor, a kind man and very professional.

Dr Wieck is the best pschiatrist that I have seen in 25 yrs of treatment.He was very accurate in his diagnosis.He was dead on on how to treat.And,he was very proactive in addressing my unforseen side effects.I am feeling great for the first time in years because of the help that I received from Dr.Wieck.Also,VERY IMPORTANT:Dr.Wieck takes extra time to listen to ALL of my concerns.So,if you are inthe waiting room for a little longerthan you'd like to be(I'm usually seen pretty quickly).Remember this;he is going to give you that extra minute or two that you need to.Sometimes that makes all the difference.
