Dr. Burton J Katzen, MD

Nice enough Dr., but only half diagnosed my foot issues. My complaints are: had me wearing ill-fitting orthotics, claimed that there was no medication that could be prescribed for pain, never offered therapy or advised of foot exercises, billing and overbilling confusion, and only being diagnosed with 2 foot ailments, when actually, I had 4 different issues with my feet. It was suggested to me, by a healthcare representative, that one of my undiagnosed foot issues could have been caused by wearing the ill-fitting orthotics. What's really not funny is that it only took 1 visit with another Podiatrist to find out about the other 2 issues with my feet that Dr. K never diagnosed me with in 6 - 7 months of bi-weekly / monthly visits with him. Wasted time and money. Needless to say, not a fan at all. SMH

I was recommended by a friend to go see doctor katzen. I was very pleased by dr. Katzen bedside manor. The staff was also very professional. Would definitely recommend him

So very happy that I was referred to Dr. Katzen. I have seen several podiatrist for my bunions but I was very reluctant about getting screws put in my feet in order to correct my the problem. After seeing Dr. Katzen and learning about his procedure (NO SCREWS) I was really happy. So great to be able to wear shoes without pain!!!

I'm being kind by putting one star. Dr Katzen in temple hill md did my foot, two hammer toes he did such a horrible job I can't even show my feet and charged me a ridiculous price. Now I have to pay someone else a huge amount of money to fix the problem he messed up.. I went to him for cosmetic surgery on my foot and he made matters worse... I really don't know why this doctor is getting five stars or is still in business, he does not do good work please stay away from this podiatrist do your research... he doesn't even have photos before and after pictures.I really wish I could show you pictures of my foot!!!
