Had my tubes reversed in 2020. Still no baby. Looking at these reviews I’m sure my tubes are still blocked as well. Definitely gonna start the process to sue. I was wondering why the facility I went to (Advanced Surgical Institute) off 250 S. La Cienaga is no longer in business. He’s a scam artist! That’s why

I came here with the hopes of having a child I got a tubal reversal done with him gave him my whole life savings of $8000 gave me an A+ on both sides of my tubes afterwards tell me everything went great five years later I’m still not pregnant I have severe pain in my uterine area and period stopped right after surgery and I went through full menopause I’m only 30 something years old all this happened right after the surgery it was all old and outdated equipment it was the most frightening thing I’ve ever been through please do your research and do not go to this man he will mess you up to where you can’t even have a child ever again do not trust him any good reviews that are on here are fake please don’t give up the only chance of having a family with this guy he will not help you.

This was the most terrifying experience. The “surgical center” is a foot clinic office. I had a major surgery done in the back room of a foot clinic, with surgical tools being pulled out of a craftsman style tool box. No blood work or pre op anything. Show up with cash, to a grimy building where you walk up to a locked door and one window with bars on it. . I was left waiting for hours with literally zero communication. When I was finally taken back, I was given a bag with a gown, hair net and booties. Told to place my belongings in a shared, unsecured locker. The doctor spoke to me for less than 5 minutes, mostly talking about how people complain. The anesthesiologist came by for 5 minutes or less, asked if I was allergic to anything and moved on. There were 3 presumed nurses… all very uninformative and tight lipped. This place was so sketchy, my stomach was in knots… I knew it was wrong, but they had taken the $4300 cash that they required me to bring. Their advertising… is just an advertisement… there’s always fine print, right? I should have known something was wrong when they required cash, would disclose the location or appointment time until the afternoon before, when everyone was devoid of emotion and didn’t make eye contact… in retrospect there were so many warning signs. But… the want to have a baby was greater than my common sense, clearly. These medical professionals never even weighed me. That’s like the first thing every medical provider loves to do. Post surgery ( an incision way larger than anticipated or discussed) I awoke abruptly with an irregular heartbeat, raised blood pressure and accelerated heart beat. I had surgery, and I was startled and confused… so it kinda makes sense, however my heartbeat was very erratic. I said something, just for the “nurse” to remove me from the monitor and onto a different cot… where I was told my ride could take me home. I never saw a doctor after surgery. I don’t know how the surgery went… I asked, but got nothing. I was given 3 days of antibiotics and some tylonal 3s for pain. When I saw prescription, I honestly thought it was regular tylonal and I asked if that would be enough for the pain. I mean, the cut into my abdominal muscles and all… the lady said that the doctor told her if people asked for anything stronger then they have a pill problem. What?! All she had to explain was that it was tylonal with codeine. Oh, after care… non existent. Not even a suggestion to follow up with your doctor. I’ve called their office twice and wasn’t able to reach anyone. To say that I’m concerned is an understatement. It’s been 5 days, I’m still in severe pain and I can’t get any advise. I feel like I was taken to the back room of a rundown foot clinic and butchered for $4700. Oh wait, I was. This should be illegal. I don’t even know if the surgery that I paid for was successful, or even performed. I feel scammed on top of mutilated.

Had surgery Aug 2020. Staff was rude upon arrival, long wait time, refused to give copies of signed paperwork after they said they would. Didn't meet doctor until 5m before surgery. Woke in a lot of pain, asked for ibuprofen & the staff called me a drug addict in Spanish. Had horrible complications & could not reach dr for almost a month to get a copy of the post operative paperwork & grading scale for my local doctor & ER to see what happened. Had HSG & tubes are still blocked! The state said there are several class A action lawsuits against him. I warn you do not go here if you want your tubes reversed.

Please do not go here they do not open your tubes at all had my surgery lastyear in may and a girl before me they didn't open her tubes either I'm very upset cuz I want a baby.and they don't call you after surgery either that let you know right there

Dr. Chun and his staff was great when I had my surgery back in Sept,2019. They made me feel very comfortable and explained everything step by step on what they were gonna do to me. I was very pleased, they got the information I needed for me to be on disability so I could get paid when I was off. Yes, the follow up isn’t the greatest. Will agree that’s the major thing they need to work on but as far as the pain it was bearable except when I coughed or sneezed then it was horrid. It was like trying to hold your sandwich together with everything on it ??????. My results though was A ‘s on both sides and now we will wait and see what happens.

Dr. Chun was so nice, explained everything step by step. I ended up being on disability from work and they did there part for me to stay home and get paid. I read a lot of the reviews and that didn’t sound like the office I walked into. The staff was very helpful. I got A’s on both sides he told me everything looked good . I won’t say some of these comments don’t have me worried about my tubes blocking up, so I had my Ultra sound done yesterday and have my HSG on the 16th of this month. As for getting ahold them after the surgery, they do say call ur doctor where ur from if u have any problems. So I don’t know if just some people don’t know how to listen or what the problem is. I just had my surgery done Sept, 2019 and I’m still very happy and will recommend anyone to them.
