Dr. Caitlin B. Iorio, MD

Dr. Caitlin Iorio, a Lancaster, SC native, comes from a family of strong women who instilled in her the values of hard work, resilience, and gratitude. Her upbringing inspired both a deep appreciation for life’s simplicity and a drive for success, which now fuels her dedication to compassionate, high-quality patient care.She earned her Biology degree with a minor in Medical Humanities from the University of South Carolina Honors College, where she began medical humanitarian work during a relief trip to Haiti. She went on to attend the Medical University of South Carolina, receiving multiple scholarships, an NIH grant for skull base surgery research, and tutoring nursing students in anatomy.Dr. Iorio completed her five-year Otolaryngology residency at the University of Virginia under the mentorship of Dr. Stephen S. Park, a renowned facial plastic surgeon. There, she honed her skills in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, won several research awards, and founded a wellness initiative …for her residency program.She completed her fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with Dr. P. Daniel Ward in Salt Lake City, UT, where she built a strong community and now calls home.With a lifelong passion for the arts—dance, music, and painting—Dr. Iorio combines her love for aesthetics with surgical expertise to help patients feel confident and cared for. Outside of work, she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, skydiving, concerts, and traveling with loved ones. Her passion for life and beauty shines through in her work and patient relationships.
