He is the best. Worth the wait if you have too. He is kind and personable and really cares about taking care of any pain. Would recommend him to others with spine issues.

My follow up appointment with Dr. Behrend went very well. He explained in detail my MRI test results. Overall Dr. Behrend was very professional. I was satisfied with my appointment. This was a follow-up visit and Doctor Behrend took the time to answer the many questions my wife and I had for him. We appreciate his direct approach and straightforward answers. Doctor Behrend has operated on my spine on 2 occasions. The first was relatively simple but the last operation was considerably more complex. I hope to have him do a delicate operation on my son. He is the best!

Dr. Behrend and his staff were excellent in my treatment. From my first visit and through multiple surgeries Dr. Behrend kind, caring and patient. He and his PA thoroughly explained the process and procedures. My circumstances and symptoms were unique and Dr. Behrend and his staff did everything thing possible to assist me.

Terrible experience. Scheduled surgery for me, had secretary cancel it five days before it was to happen. He never even followed up with me. I had to fly to California for a serious spinal fusion. Find a different doctor.
