My daughter was seen here, and while the doctor eventually gave her a heart monitor for her main concern (elevated heart rate), she was also instructed to take her blood pressure every single day. She understood why it was important, but she has ADHD and was juggling schoolwork — this extra daily task added stress without addressing her actual primary concern. Since she was already being monitored for heart rate, the daily BP readings felt unnecessary and made it harder for her to focus on what mattered most for her care. This could have been handled in a more accommodating and patient-friendly way.

He is a very good doctor and excellent staff

I really love this doctor, but had to leave the practice because of his office staff. I have been without my cardiac medicine for weeks and have not been able to get a prescription. When I was upset on the phone, his office staff yelled at me and called me childish. In fact, I have seen his staff yell at patients on the phone and then hang up and discuss that patient with those in the waiting room. So much for HIPPA! They didn’t care about my dignity during tests when my clothes were off. While I really like the doctor, I can no longer entrust my health to this practice.

When you come to the office you have to fill out about 20 forms. Most of those forms have nothing to do with the heart and should be done at your PCP office. When you come in as a new pt. he talks with you for about 45 mins. Its a hold up because he dictate while you are there and just sitting while he has his head phones talking to the computer. One of the staff members there name is Denise and she is very kind. She do an excellent job! She was the best staff member in the entire office. It seems like all of the other pts. love her as well. I would have left the office if it was not for Denise!
