Dr Atkinson was very patient and took the time out to explain the cause of my condition, proposed a treatment plan and gave me the opportunity to ask questions . I have visited many Specialist regarding various ailments and they are all so busy and move so fast until they forget about checking their patients understanding. Well, not Dr Atkinson. In addition to having great bedside manners ,he is knowledgeable and have plenty experience. I trust that he is going to do a exceptional job taking care of me.

I'm so impressed with the care that I received. Dr. Atkinson is so professional and took the time to explain my surgery and recovery in detail. I felt like a VIP!

When you have a problem with your hand, you need to see a hand specialist, and Dr. Atkinson is the best! He does all the testing needed to accurately diagnose your problem and gives you options for your treatment! He is very thorough, friendly, polite, and explains things with pictures, diagrams, and easy-to-understand language! My friend recommended him to me, and now we both think he's the best!

Dr. Atkinson has been the best Doctor & Friend to my husband and Friend to me. He always gives us his time and thoughts on what he know or believes. I'm so glad my husband has this Doctor we couldn't ask for more.

Supposedly a surgeon of the hand. But couldn't even repair tendons & ligaments correctly. Surgery was a waste of money & time & I will NEVER be back. Save your time, go to a real Hand Surgeon.

I just had my second (and final) missed appointment with Dr Atkinson. After waiting 30 minutes for my last appointment, the nurse came out and told me I would have to reschedule. He apparently was running an hour and a half late. I rescheduled for this week and asked the office to let me know prior to me leaving work early if Dr Atkinson was running behind. I was sent to the examination room on time and asked to wait. During this time, I had 2 different nurses come by and ask me what my name was. After waiting for 45 minutes with no other contact, I let the staff and the Dr know that I was leaving. He did not even remember missing my appointment last week. His only response was, "That's fair". I left, and I will not be going back. Nobody seemed particularly upset, so I would guess timekeeping issues are not out of the norm. What I find odd is that I had a surgery earlier this year with Dr Nichols at this same office for an injured shoulder. Dr Nichols was great, and I… would highly recommend him. Unfortunately, he does not specialize in elbows.

I would highly recommend Dr. Cameron Atkinson to anyone who has an injury of the hand. He is absolutely AMAZING! He is kind, sincere, HONEST, and gives you time. My teenage son wasn't taking care of his football injury as he should be, and Dr. Atkinson in his humorous way explained to him and made him understand what was best for him and why. He truly is sincere and understand a mom and his patients very well. He takes the time to get to know you and spends quality length of time with each patient irrespective of how little or large the injury is. He put my mind to ease and did not allow me to spend the extra money for unnecessary therapy or extra x-rays. He is the expert on hands and He is one of the Best Doctors I have seen. He has an Excellent attitude and persona. His staff is great as well. I have been truly pleased with Arlington Orthopedics.
