Dr. Cameron A Darvish, MD

Would not recommend if you are trying to have a natural birth. Dr. Darvish was trying to push unnecessary interventions on me during my labor from the moment I entered the hospital and was very pushy and condescending when I declined. He had no respect for my goals or desires for my birth and instead of providing me with the risks, benefits, and reasons for the interventions he wanted to do, he put the burden on me to provide reasons why I don’t want the interventions and then told me that I was just “saying no to say no.” The doctors are also difficult to get ahold of; I had to call multiples times to get an antibiotic when I had mastitis.

This is a wonderful office & staff. Dr. Ephrem and Dr. Darvish are both amazing doctors and every staff member I have interacted with is very friendly and welcoming. Sara and Marisol are always smiling and so sweet. Kim is very helpful and very knowledgable in completing the maternity paperwork. I had such a positive experience with my pregnancy, general checkups and delivery. Dr. Ephrem was very caring during my pregnancy and she always went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. Dr. Darvish delivered my baby safely through a c- section and was always checking on baby and me during my stay at the hospital. He is so calming and patient, and did a great job with the c-section, the scar is healing well and not very noticable. I highly recommend the doctors and the office.

Best Doctor ever

This was the worst experience I ever had! I have medicaid Amerigroup. I had an OBGYN chosen that took my insurance but, because she had left for maternity leave, the availability for appointments there didn't work out well for my schedule. There are 2 ob's here, husband and wife team. The wife seemed friendly but the husband seemed strange. Throughout my pregnancy, I had complications that concerned me. My concerns by the male doctor were brushed under the rug. He told me I was irrational because of a miscarriage I had in the past. Almost 10 years ago. I wasn't happy with the treatment I was receiving. Friends were concerned for me and the way I was being handled. They called my OB a quack. I didn't listen in the beginning but I did eventually tell the doctor that I wanted to switch practices. Both he and his wife told me that I could switch but no one would touch me because of my insurance and offered to take me to a free clinic as if it were my only option. It was a scare tactic. It… wasn't my only option because of my medicaid, I was in talks with another OB but because I waited so long I was too far along to make the switch. I should've switched right away, this was a mistake I still regret. At the hospital, while I was in labor, I was told I couldn't go natural because of 2 prior c-sections. I waited for the doctor for hours. The nursed let me know they were concerned for me and the complications that could occur if the doctor didn't show up on time. They knew him by name and called him Cameron. CAMERON has a reputation for not showing up on time and not seeing his patience regularly while they are in the hospital according to nurses. During my c-section, I couldn't catch my breath. I let the anesthesiologist know. Afterwards, he approached the OB who told him not to worry because I'm dramatic after having a miscarriage. The miscarriage I had 10 years ago! I barely saw him while I was in the hospital. He would show up in the middle of the night at the foot of my hospital bed. My son was coombs positive and in the NICU for a week. The OB EITHER ALLOWED SOMEONE ELSE TO PERFORM HIS CIRCUMCISION OR DID IT HIMSELF BUT IT WAS BOTCHED. They did not cut enough skin off. It looks like he never had it done and may have complications in the future. I know that he insisted upon doing it himself even though a resident was standing by. Either way he would've had to approve the resident to perform the circumcision. After all was said and done, because I was breastfeeding, I needed a BC pill that would not effect my milk supply or my baby. I was prescribed norethindrone. I wasn't given any other choice. I wasn't briefed on the risks, how to use and how sensitive the bc was. It's much more risky than others because it keeps your progesterone level high, if you don't take it at the exact same time every day you must use a backup method for at least 48 hours. The reviews are atrocious. 2 stars at best. Pregnancy while taking this method can result in birth defects and malformations, especially within the 1st month. It will effect the fetus's reproductive system. So I'm pregnant and have been regularly taking my pill. I must be at least 2 months. I may have to terminate if the baby shows signs of defects or I'll lose the baby due to miscarriage. I will never return to Dr. Darvesh. Steer clear of this office completely!!!

Dr. Darvish was everything you wanted in an ob/gyn and more. I cannot praise him enough. This man most the most amazing doctor he made my delivery an experience I will never forget. He didn’t want to cut me open and when I really had nothing left to give he grabbed my face and said look at me you can do this I know you can he gave me strength and became like family. He was our hype guy! He told my sister when to take pics when to video. He was just amazing every baby I have will be delivered by this man! Dr. Darvish if you read this I love you thank you for helping me bring my baby boy into this world.

Dr. Darvish delivered both of my kids. He is phenomenal. He is extremely knowledgeable. Both Dr. Darvish and Dr. Ephrem are great. All throughout the pregnancy, Dr. Darvish would make each visit pleasant. I had many scary moments, especially with my second pregnancy, but Dr. Darvish always would put my mind at ease. During Pregnancy, if there was any issues, both Dr. Darvish and Dr. Ephrem would give their 110% of attention and follow up. When it came to delivery time, Dr. Darvish made sure he was present from the start to the end. His personality and sense of humor made the delivery experience much more pleasant. After all, I have two healthy children.

Never have any doubt with his knowledge and honesty. Cared for me like I was his own family all the time.

11 years. 4 babies. I think that pretty much explains it. I wouldn't have stayed if he wasn't a phenomenal doctor. I had a dilemma with birth control and he gave me his very strong and honest opinion even though he would not make money off that route. He is thorough, honest, and always available.

the best doctor, very modest. Trust him with my life.

GREAT DOCTOR PREFER HIM OVER HIS WIFE BUT SHES GREAT TOO ! They don't rush they actually care.
