Cameron D. Wilcox, MD

Dr. Wilcox is a great physiatrist and listens. He really goes above and beyond to listen and give best treatment as far as meds that work for you as all people's brains respond differently. He is clearly overworked but does his best.

Wilcox always loses crucial paperwork I give to him and blames his billing department. He also prescribes powerful meds, asks me to email him if I have problems but never responds unless threatened with legal action.

As a 53 yo male who's suffered from Major Depression-Severe-Recurrent for over 25 years, I've had multiple inpatient hospitalizations, ECT's, and have seen my share of Psychiatrist's over the years! In all that time I've had only TWO that were worth a lick; Dr. Wilcox is one of them! He understands that a psychiatrist, for a large part (and depending on the ability of the patient to honestly verbalize what is going on in their head,) is the STUDENT, and it is the patient who teaches the Doctor! He "get's" that, and anyone fortunate enough to be his patient benefits from this uncommon perspective!

Dr. Wilcox is outstanding! He is very responsive and makes changes accordingly. He is very warm and knows what he's doing. I wouldn't be around without him.
