Dr. Camille Ann Leaver, PsyD

I've been to several therapists before. After a terrible separation and pending divorce I went to see her and within the first session issues were pinpointed and I was able to begin my journey with a direction and a purpose. Always puts me at ease, helps me to check in with myself, and has given me the tools I have needed to work on myself and my goals. Almost 4 years later I still go when things come up.

In my opinion, she's way too expensive - you pay $120 for "50 mins" but usually 25 of those are spent in the waiting room. To me, Mrs. Leaver came off as cold and transparent, showing little compassion while using an almost sarcastic tone. She almost never remembers anything from previous sessions (& refused to write anything down) and you usually end up repeating an entire old conversation before you can have a new one. Maybe she's good for some people but definitely not me. I found much cheaper mental health care rates using private practitioners. It may sound harsh, but I honestly have no idea why someone of her nature decided to become a psychologist/counselor. :(
