Delayed results and lack of communication.

Horrible MD, you will not feel comfortable.

Do not be fooled by the looks of this office. It looks nice at first but the initial visit upon seeing her was poor. No patient education regarding contraceptives besides being given brochures. A 5 minute visit was not worth a $30 copay. Bedside manner as far as being attentive to your needs was not satisfactory. She does her job but at a bare minimum. Complications occurred and I was not able to be treated properly. I am now seeking a second doctor who will understand my problems as a whole instead of my side effects being brushed off as "normal."

At first I thought this was a nice OBGYN due to the office looking brand new.. Let’s start off by sayin how inconveniently hard it is to get ahold of anyone at this office, you can even dial in the hospital line and they won’t pick up, and if you leave voicemails they will never get back to them so you must follow up with your own calls to try and get ahold of anyone. The girls at the front desk are hit and miss, they are nice to some girls who walk in and to others you have to wait there at the front desk and tell them Hello before ever getting a response to let them know you’re here for your appointment. Doctor is nice but very cutthroat and gets to the point vaguely. I came in at 5 weeks pregnant and they congratulated me and all this.. but they messed up my bloodwork and I didn’t get my blood done until three months pregnant because they kept having many messups with not sending my lab work and having to try for a week straight to get ahold of the office. Then when I got my papa… smear done (Sorry for adding this but it’s important) she was in call to deliver a baby (WHICH I UNDERSTAND COMPLETELY) Trust me I know if I were delivering mid want my doctor to run but my Pap smear was done so fast and it was the first time it has ever hurt me. She stuck the tool in without letting me know and swabbed me so quick I was so uncomfortable I even jumped up and she didn’t even let me ask questions or asked if ive ever had one done, and left the room. I sat there and cried my eyes out I literally felt like I was treated so wrong that day. I wouldn’t recommend this office for new moms or any one at that.. I really Do recommend Dr Skinner ( my old doctor I didn’t go to because I had a bill I truly wasnt able to pay at the time) This has not been a good experience for my first pregnancy.

Have never waited more than 15 mins beyond my appt time here to be seen. Support staff are caring and detailed, receptionist is kind and polite and Dr Leaphart is thorough, extremely competent and very compassionate. Don't hesitate, I have seen a few gynaecologists in Las Vegas and this is a great doctor and team.

At the end of my appointment I waited an hour for (when I was the only person in the waiting room), she pettily slammed the door on me, my boyfriend and baby, and rudely yelled at us while waving her hands as we were walking by checkout in front of her other employees, "good luck you two.. or three, good luck you THREE". And she wasn't saying it to be polite, she was mad and being petty. So I'll explain what happened.. I scheduled an appointment after finding out I'm pregnant. After waiting an hour we go back to a little room, she came in another 20 minutes later and tells me "So you are pregnant" I said "yep I know" she continues to tell me about how far along I am and possible due date, which I already kind of knew (Google and such). She says after we schedule an ultrasound in a couple weeks we can get a more accurate date. I mentioned my last doctor did it on the first appointment after confirming I'm pregnant and she said they have to schedule that stuff ahead of time because they… don't have the ultrasounds on hand all the time (which is alarming because if you have an emergency like I did with my last pregnancy, you won't go to the ER but you'll want to go to your doctor ASAP), so I asked her what I was there to do today and she said just to confirm I was pregnant. My boyfriend and I had already discussed in the waiting room going back to my last doctor because of this wait and that they don't have a lab in this same building, which is another drive and wait I'd have to do nearly every appointment for bloodwork. So I asked my boyfriend what we should do, schedule it out or go ahead with my last doctor? I asked her if she requested the bloodwork if that's something I have to come in for or can just be phoned for with a follow up. She rudely scoffed and told me it's something I'd have to come in for, and talked to me like I was an idiot for asking (when my last doctor would follow up with that info by phone) and when I mentioned again I thought I was at least getting an ultrasound done today she said (goes without saying, but with a lot of attitude) "we can't just take your word for it that you're pregnant, we need to confirm these things first. We're not just going to give you an ultrasound right away." She rudely said "why would you even bother scheduling this stuff with me if you're just going to end up going to another doctor?" Since she was mad and I was uncomfortable I said "yea I guess we'll just schedule with my last doctor then." She gets up in a huff. If I remember correctly, she apologized for it being a waste of time, but the fact that she then slammed the door incredibly loudly made me not even think about the rude things she was saying as she huffed and puffed out because I was so in shock. As I was leaving past checkout she loudly told the checkout lady not to even bother. She was obviously mad, and that's when she started waving her hands saying, "good luck you two.. or three, good luck you THREE!" I kindly and quietly (so the other 7 or so people now waiting in the waiting room wouldn't overhear) asked the very polite and nice receptionist if I could get a refund because I was upset with how she talked to me, (amongst many other things), and she said that it was up to the doctor (in other words, not happening) and that she would relay the message to her tomorrow because the doctor wouldn't give her an answer today. I never write reviews but this was the worst, most uncomfortable, unprofessional situation I've ever been in.. and it was supposed to be such a joyous day. I understand different doctors have different processes but I didn't appreciate that I was talked to like I was an idiot for being surprised that I waited an hour and had my insurance and me charged for a pregnancy test and an estimation of my due date.

Dr. Leaphart is a wonderful Doctor, she delivered my 2nd son via c section. She cared about my concerns and i hardly ever had to wait long in her office or for a appointment. Her staff is amazing also. I would definitely keep her as my OB.

I visited this office after having being unable to get an appointment in time with my normal gynecologist to get my birth control refilled. My initial feelings when I went were that I didn't really like Dr. Leapheart's bedside manner but I didn't plan on returning there so I didn't waste my time posting anything about it. She also changed the birth control I had been on for years and years to control my PCOS to a progestin only one bc of some concerns she had with some of my other medications. I went along with it because she's a doctor and obviously knows better than myself. However, after being on that birth control and having really bad symptoms I called the office and asked to be changed back to my old birth control. I got a phone call from Dr. Leaphart and she said she didn't want to but that she would prescribe me two months and to come back and get my blood pressure checked and she would prescribe the rest of the birth control- so I said fine. Today I took off of work early and… went in to get my blood pressure checked and the rest of my prescription and there was confusion as to why I was there. Apparently in the notes she hadn't put our conversation down and there were only notes about another medicine I was on, which she never even brought up in our phone call. After 30 min, they took me back and took my blood pressure and asked me questions about seeing another specialist. The assistant then came back and said that Dr. Leapheart would have to talk to me and they would have to charge me bc the concern wasn't over my blood pressure but this other medicine/condition. At this point I was pretty frustrated so I did get rude and said that yeah I guess I'd f*cking see her obviously bc I need my birth control to regulate my hormones. They took me back to the room, only to have the woman in the front come in and tell me Dr. Leapheart changed her mind and would now not see me or give me the rest of my subscription till I went to see the other specialist. So after being on the birth control she prescribed for two months, she wanted me to just stop taking it, screw up my hormones again after f*cking them up by changing it in the first place?! And they kept insisting it had nothing to do with my blood pressure- where would I get that from? Like I pulled that out of my head from somewhere?? No. What happened is she forgot to write down the notes from our conversation on the phone about changing the birth control and then is totally screwing me over for it. She's a horrible doctor. Don't go to her.

Dr, Leaphart-St,Cloud is a great doctor!! She is very thorough and test results come back immediately, Her staff is excellent as well.
