Dr. Chen is an exceptionally skilled and talented clinician who uses a variety of tests and diagnostic tools to guide and enhance outcome for her patients

Dr. Chen and her receptionist Joanna are very pleasant, she has a nice office, very clean. She is also a professor. I trust this Doctor.

I was given very poor advice, to not have cataract surgery now but to wait. I subsequently saw 3 experienced opthamologists who all advise to have surgery asap because the type of cataract I have gets riskier the longer you wait. This alone is worth a poor valuation but in addition Dr Chen was impossible to reach by phone and when I wrote to her about her diagnosis she did not reply. I consider this behavior outrageous.

Dr. Chen is punctual, professional and communicates well. She asks probing questions and is a great listener. She is also very personable and caring.

She is the BEST. She's also very sympathetic I asked her if Macular Degeneration is caused by stress told her I was going thru extreme stress thinking I wouldn't take her time telling her about it. She asked me what my stress was about and I told her. What doctor would want to be bored listening to someone's causes of stress. She's very patient doesn't rush spends quality time informing you about your diagnosis.

Dr. Chen is highly knowledgeable and a very careful observer. She finds the right way to communicate very clearly and concisely, but also warmly. Her recommendations feel empowering, because she gives you room and respect to make your own decisions with her knowledge and experience as resources.

Inexperienced. Forgot to do certain exams. Had to return a second time to get complete examination that was then given by the receptionist who left the room in the middle of the exam and never returned. Got charged extra for things that should have been included in the overall, overpriced fee we were forced to put on a credit card before she would event see me. Wrote wrong prescription (and got charged extra for it). Got billed twice. Horrible. Do not ever go to her.

Dr. Candice Chen is an exceptional ophthalmologist. She helped me through my Grave's Disease and followed up on every aspect. She truly cares. She is very thorough, checking to make sure my eyes remain stable and healthy. I highly recommend her to all.
