Dr. Candice Hsulin Tung, MD

Dr. Tung has cared for me since 2008, and I can truly say that she is the best doctor I have ever come across. First of all, she cares. She truly cares about being the best doctor to her patients and holds herself to the highest standard for medical care. I can tell by the way she treats her patients and analyzes my needs and what I tell her my concerns are. I have met many doctors over the years with less than stellar bed side manner, who can't wait to leave the room, or speak in medical terms so you don't understand. Dr. Tung breaks it down for you on a level, like a friend and never leaves you feeling uncomfortable. Her bed side manner leaves you feeling extremely at ease and confident you are receiving the best care possible. This is a concierge practice and from what I've heard there is a waiting list, which is no surprise. Once a patient, always a patient. Before I saw Dr. Tung, I also checked her credentials, so Cornell grad, Ohio State Medical School, left me feeling… very confident she was well trained. If you can get in with this doctor, consider yourself extremely lucky - I do.

Dr. Tung is a caring, compassionate doctor. I have been able to call the office at 9am and she has made time to see me that same day. Office waits are always minimal. If I need a medication refill, her nurse will confer and take care of it right away. When she is on vacation or out of the office, I can talk to the nurse, or even call Dr. Tung direct. She has even returned my phone call during a basketball game with her family, due to the urgency of the problem. Dr. Tung stays up to date with current medical advances. She is able to refer me to specialists (including prestigious institutions on the East coast) that otherwise is not even taking new patients and will see me, just because of her special relationships. After over eight years under her care, I just can't say enough good things about her.

Dr Tung was my doctor for 10 years. She always came prepared to our meetings, yes I call them meetings because I would go to see her during my work day and she was on my calendar. It was very clear that I was taking time out of my busy day to see her and I expected to be seen at my scheduled time. I hate that I can no longer see Dr as I no longer have insurance ,but as soon as I am able to afford what I need to be one of her patients again I will definitly be going back to her office. I felt comfortable there, knew her staff, she would remind me of how important it is to stay up on one's health and not to let things just slide. I was not a big talker but she understood that. I highly recommend Dr if you are looking for a good doctor in the Las Vegas Valley. Deborah Armstrong

Candice H. Tung is not taking new patients. It is upsetting to first go their website and contact them to find out they are a closed panel. That is their option. HOWEVER, that should be stated on the website explicitly. Instead, the site leads you on to contact them to "see if the practice is right for you." They have a "WAITING LIST." WAIT for what? This is poor business management at the least and very misleading to the general public.

I have been a patient of Dr Tung's for 6 yrs now. I have seen many doctors over my lifetime, & she is absolutely the best & most thorough by far. She goes out of her way to answer all questions, & gets back to you in a timely manner. Her bedside manner is second to none! Almost makes going to the Dr's an experience to look forward to!!!!

Dr. Tung is awesome! She did not accept that I was going to live a sub-par life in pain, but was determined to help me find a way out. She also understood that I was not a fan of daily drug regimens and attempted to help me without that. She was patient with me and wrote what I said down so that the next time I did not have to repeat myself. Her staff is fantastic and seem to love working for her, so they make you want to come back. I have seen at least a dozen doctors in the past 7 years and Dr. Tung is the first who spent the time to really understand the problem; she proposed a staged approach to solving the problem with scheduled follow-ups. I recommend her absolutely!

Dr Tung as cared for me since 2006. During that time she has brought me from a 60+ male with many serious problems to a much more fit and healthy individual. I follow her instructions and I just keep getting better and better. I initially went through a couple of horrendous illnesses and accidents. She was always by my side working me back to health using the newest and most modern methods. her diagnostic abilities are of the highest degree.No Physician that had ever been in my life has done for me or cared enough about me to do what Dr. Candace Tung as done. I can find no higher rating for her than THE BEST!!!

I would recommend Dr. Tung for your health care needs. She is a friendly doctor who is aware of current health care issues. It is easy to schedule appointments with her and visits are not rushed.
