Dr. Caner Sakin, MD

Dr. Sakin was torturous to have as a doctor. There’s a reason why he has only one star reviews across multiple review platforms. He is unable to make eye contact and it feels like talking to a cold, uncaring robot. Over and over I was made to feel small and foolish. Every time I advocated for myself I was dismissed repeatedly. He even mocked me once for “always doing my little Googling” when I researched and advocated for a treatment that actually helped turn around my diagnosis; he wouldn’t have suggested it for me otherwise. If he ever reads this I know he’ll think this is because we had a recent disagreement about a medication, but I’ve felt this way since I first met him and he didn’t even bother to properly greet me. If anything, having Dr. Sakin treat me motivated me to get better so I wouldn’t have to deal with him anymore. I’ve thankfully been able to transfer to another doctor! I want to also note that I have good friends who are doctors and I am aware of the stress and… pressure they endure within our broken healthcare system. I’ve accounted for all that- this man truly just has an awful personality. I’ve shared details of my experience with them and everytime they were shocked by his bedside manner behavior, as well as some medical choices and encouraged me to transfer. His staff is lovely and pleasant- they’re all angels, this is only is for Dr. Sakin. TLDR: He made one of the hardest times of my life harder. Doctor Sakin is a person who cares very closely with his patients and provides professional support.

I have a lupus diagnosis. The patient education regarding the disease has been feeble, at best. I don't have have a medical background and am relying more on the interned to understand the disease, side effects and repercussions. In today's healthcare world, I'm surprised there isn't a case/care manager for me or a clinical coordination team to facilitate my integrated care other than a fifteen minute quarterly provider visit.

Dr Sakin, spends quite a bit of time with me answering questions, as I always bring my husband a d with me for my Fibromyalgia appointments as we are both trying to understand how best to help me. he has been very thorough answering our questions and explaining my condition to us. Dr Sankin suggest a few choices of medications and then you go to your regular Dr. To help you choose the medication that may work best for you after your Dr explains what each suggested medication is and how it may help you also your Dr will check your medications your already taking checking to see what works best with what you're already taking. Great Dr. Wonderful staff. Yes I would Recommend Dr Caner Sam in to others.

After being tentatively diagnosed with RA by my PCP, I made an appointment fiwth this doctor. Twice my appointment was canceled due to his illness. When I expressed dismay because I was in pain, instead of apologizing or offering a solution, the nurse rudely chided me and said, "people get sick, you know". I told them forget it, I would find another doctor, but they kept pestering me for the next 6 months asking why I hadn't rescheduled yet. Terrible.
