Dr. Cara J Barlis, MD

14yrs I have been suffering. Over those years I have seen / experienced countless Dr's, Specialists, Tests. Exams, medications, etc. Each time I reach the end of the road for what they can offer me or suggest. On my first visit w/ Dr. Barlis she reads my printed out list of symptoms, gives me a thorough exam in her office and says she wants to run a certain blood test... sure enough she was spot on w/ her diagnosis! 14yrs and not one dr. thought to look for a certain deficiency in my blood! We are now working on a treatment plan and starting to see some changes. I just can't believe it... I am so happy that I came across her name / facility when I was about to give up and accept the pain and symptoms. I actually feel that after all of these years, I may have found the answers I needed from a Dr. who is knowledgable, thorough, kind, and listens to her patients (She stayed late one night to work around my schedule so we could go over test results in person and not have to wait before… we started treatment). She surrounds herself with an amazing staff who are personable, helpful, kind, and professional. (I also have never had to wait longer than 5mins in the waiting room.) Hands down the best!

I highly recommend Dr. Barlis. While I have many doctors for many issues, she is my primary care physician. With compassion, patience, knowledge and remarkable persistence, she and her fabulous team have successfully helped me through several complex medical and insurance company challenges. I am so grateful for all they have done to support me. (Wait time is less than five minutes but not given as an option here). She and her staff are the best!

Dr. Cara Barlis is thorough, friendly and truly concerned about her patients. I highly recommend her, Dr. Peter Wenger and their staff for their excellent care.
