Dr. Cara Monique Katzer, MD

I have a lot of medical trauma and was nervous when I found out my original surgeon was going to be out and Dr Katzer was willing to cover. I requested a phone call for a vibe check to help decide if I was comfortable and not only was she willing but it happened quickly! She was warm and I could tell competent from that and decided to proceed. When I met her day of I could tell I was in good hands. Her only - online review was she was intense but I didn't get that at all, just beautiful clear blue eyes and maybe a bit type A? but she's great! Also despite being a plus size patient and difficulty with intubating me I never felt treated as less than by her or any of the staff at any time which helps heal my medical anxiety. You can tell she cares deeply about her work, explains things well in an easy to understand way and is willing to answer all the questions happily. Even apologized for a skin issue I had that she had no control over. I highly recommend her if you need an ENT/surgeon!
