Dr. Carey Marie Vigor, MD

Dr Vigor has been defamed and abused by drug dealers in Indiana with no help from the local police. She therefore left the state. Drug dealers complained she was a drug addict because her eyes were bloodshot from glaucoma and was never given a hearing date to defend herself. It was during COVID but no hearing dates have yet been scheduled for her.

I know the creeps who posted negative reviews here. They are heroin addicts who brag about stealing her blank prescription pads and are really angry she caught them and contacted the police. Do the math.

Dr Vigor has been my doctor for many years. She moved to Indiana for a few years. She was threatened by the heroin addicts there who filed complaints against her for refusing to treat them after she discovered them committing crimes in her waiting room. I hope she sues them and the people in Indiana for defamation for believing these heroin addicts' lies about her. I have never been to Indiana but I have heard they have the worst problems with heroin abuse down there even worse than Detroit in the 1980's.

I have never trusted my doctors because they only care about my money not my issues i am 25 years old and have been a patient since 15 all my life ive been going through doctors and never felt like they cared. When i first saw dr vigor i didnt trust her i felt like she was like everyone else but after seeing her a few times i could tell she really cares about me and my problems. the people who give her bad reviews or a hard time they dont want real help they just want to have their drugs and thats not fair shehas a huge heart and she is the best dr ive ever had

Dr Vigor made house calls until I could drive to her office. She doesn't have a secretary so it is a little hard to book an appointment but it is worth the wait. I guess she is trying to specialize more on us seniors instead of those young kids who make a lot of noise in her waiting room complaining. I heard she is going to be cutting back on her practice except for Medicare which is fine with me. Really good doctor.

I used to work for Dr Vigor when she was an ER doctor in Detroit. She was wonderful. She has been taking care of my parents for many years. I remember when a patient in the ER in Lincoln Park threw an ashtray full of sand at her because she would not give her a shot of Dilaudid. That was back in the 1970's when you could smoke in the ER waiting room! Not much else has changed though with all the drug seeking patients harassing doctors in private practice! Great doctor she deserves a medal not complaints from n'er do wells.

DR VIGOR HAS BEEN TAKING CARE OF MY PARENTS FOR OVER 20 YEARS. SHE GOT MY MOM OUT OF A NURSING HOME AND KEPT MY DAD OUT OF ONE. SHE HAS LOTS OF EXPERIENCE GETTING PATIENTS OFF OF MEDS LIKE VALIUM THAT MADE MY MOM LOOK LIKE ALZHEIMERS!

I've been w/ this doctor for along time now- & for a reason. She has always been to good to me NEVER abandoned me or forgotten about me like I have been before. She's always been there to assist me EVEN went out of her way to speak w/ me on a Holiday if i were having trouble. So could anyone please tell me where would they find any doctor who could be there for them like that if it really came dwn to it??!!... thts wht I thght!! Because they don't exist. When my insurance was no longer accepted she knew my situation & worked w/ me on the best terms she could for me so i wouldn't loose any future care tht I needed & still does!!! My condition is chronic and probably will never be cured and Dr. Vigor tries her absolute best to help me cope with that. My only concern when it comes to this Doctor is what will i do when she no longer is in practice. She literally is 1of a kind IMO. If anything is being said about Dr. Vigor poorly I'm guessing they weren't there for the RGHT reasons!!… Thank you Dr.Vigor for EVERYTHING you continue to do.

Dr Vigor has helped my parents stay in their home she has been making housecalls for many years and does a great job

I have been a patient of Dr Vigor's for a long time. I am also a fellow psychiatrist. Only the drug seeking patient who gets caught forging a prescription or using their child as a way to obtain controlled substances post negative reviews here. Or those that refuse to pay and get sent to collection. This doctor goes by the rules. The doctors that get the best reviews are writing a lot of controlled substance prescriptions. Patients love their doctors who give them opiates and Xanax.
