Our baby was born in 2004 after a high-risk pregnancy with other complications. Our son was born healthy by emergency c-section, his wellbeing we attribute to Dr. Winkler's 100% no-time-wasted reactions and his confident expertise. Having gone through a high-risk pregnancy with its accompanying scares, Dr. Winkler put us at ease immediately upon our first appointment with him, and carried us through an-oft challenging pregnancy with humor, skill, professionalism, and a dose of magic with which even high risk pregnancies should be blessed. We also challenged him and he came through on every level----what do "zero g's" do to the fetus, Dr. Winkler? Inspite of all, our son is a healthy and vibrant 12 year old. We have eagerly recommended Dr. Winkler to others for 12 years now, and we will continue to do so.

I was referred to Dr.Winkler in 2010, after an abnormal ultrasound found that my daughter had a VSD. Dr. Winkler never tried to tell me what I should do, but he gave me facts about possibilities/outcomes with children who have VSD's and possible downs syndrome (I had multiple high risk tests). I transferred to his office at LSC for high risk care, and I didn't get to actually see him too many times, he was out of the office A LOT...that is my only complaint (He worked at another hospital as well)...Sometimes I felt like I never really got to know my Doctor like I would have wished. He really knew his stuff as far as everything else went, he was very nice. I would see him again if I was high risk and needed to!

I'm happy that all of you think that Dr. Winkler is so great but obviously no one knew him when he worked at DGMC in California. He was corrupt right along with the rest of DGMC medical staff.

Dr. Winkler is an amazing doctor! Not only is he professional, caring, and understanding of a patient's concerns, he has excellent, calming personality. We first met Dr. Winkler when I developed HELLP Syndrome with my first pregnancy. He did a great job making sure we understood what was happening and what our options were. We went back and saw him when with our last pregnancy and he put us right at ease taking EXCELLENT care of us! He never made us feel rushed when we came in for our appointments. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Winkler to anyone!!

Nice doc, professional.. great staff

Dr. Winkleman is a top notch physician. I had a very difficult pregnancy and his kind and sensitive bedside manner got me through it. He is down to earth, and has a straight forward manner of dealing with things. It is obvious that he is very well educated and highly regarded in his field. His office, along with the entire maternity ward that he commands at Legacy runs like a well oiled machine, for lack of a better description. I felt very well taken care of and extremely cared for. I would recommend him to anyone and will be seeing him again in the future.

Dr. Winkler has a great personality and is easy to work with. He effectively communicates with his patients and is very compassionate. I would recommend Dr. Winkler!
