Dr. Karen Lynn Drake, MD

I had seen Dr. Drake with all three of my high risk pregnancies. She was a gift from God for me. She helped me through understanding all I needed as a new mother and continous learning with the rest of my children. She was always polite and answered all my concerns. I would 100% recommend her to anything.

Dr. Drake is my guardian angel, after multiple losses she diagnosed me with an incompetent cervix and aided in keeping me pregnant for as long as possible and now I have two beautiful children with her help. A daughter who is now 10 and a son who just turned 7. She really cares for her patients and listens to not only what they are going through but what they are feeling. I would and have recommended Dr. Drake to anyone with any pregnancy related issues.

Dr. Drake assisted us with both my pregnancies. Her entire office dealt with us with respect, dignity and compassion as we faced difficult decisions and complications with both my pregnancies. She took the time with us to share the impacts the choices we made. Her followup is superb with both myself and my other doctors. I can't say enough about how she affected my life in a positive manner.

dr. drake is an awsome dr shes nice and friendly i thanki her very,very much because if it wasnt for her i wouldnt have my baby her now.she always caped my hopes up and shes like an angel to me. i strongly recomend her to anyone.

Dr. Drake completely misdiagnosed my daughter via ultrasound with bladder extrophy. They told me this over the phone the day after my appointment as they couldn't stick around for the rest of my appointment to conclude. Apparantly she had big plans for the evening as she wasn't in the hospital. She then discussed that I had 2 weeks to terminate the pregnancy. The only thing she did do is recommend that I have my daughter in Iowa City and put forward the paperwork (rather slowly so that when I went there, I had no insurance approved for my appointment). I had a healthy baby girl and worried for 5 months that I was going to have a deformed baby due to her expertise. I would avoid Dr. Drake and her office.
