Summary
My name is Carissa Hernandez, a licensed therapist in the state of Texas. I have a strong passion for helping people navigate through tough times in their life. My experience includes working with clients who are suffering with depression, self-confidence struggles, anxiety, relationship issues and more. I have been counseling for 11 years including 3 years in the clinical/private setting. When working with my clients, I use CBT, DBT, ACT and occasionally give homework so that clients are able to meet their desired goals. My work hours are generally in the afternoons on weekdays and I can usually fit in a weekend session by request if needed. I'm able to check messages a few times throughout the day as well. I look forward to working with clients through Sondermind.
