Dr. Carl Elmer Hill, MD

Doesn't know his long time patients and can't keep anyone in office for help for what reasons unknown. He is operating a office all by himself and can't give his patients the care they need. Looking for another doctor.

This doctor gave me the wrong diagnosis, talks too much when he should have been diagnosing me. he didn't send my prescription to the pharmacy for 4 days.

Dr. Hill needs to retire. He doesn't care about the patients needs, concerns, health or diagnosis. He performs medical care He shouldn't. He is not supposed to perform pap smears however he has. I asked for help with some female issues and he didn't help or refer me to someone who could until I was pregnant. He didn't do any tests when I went to him telling him something was wrong with the birth control I was taking prior to getting pregnant. He just sent me to a gynecologists.

Dr. Hill is nice and professional but he does not remember me whenever I call or come in.

My overall experience has been ok, but there are a few things I'm not that pleased with: 1. He spends less 5 minutes with you 2. I don't like the office hours( one day he's open in the morning the next day the afternoon) 3. I don't know if he just has a nonchalant attitude or insufficient people skills or both. If you asked me for a recommendation, I opinion is split down the middle.

During the exam, the doctor performed acts that were totally inappropriate. He stated that it was necessary to use his fingers before inserting the speculum for the pelvic exam. I felt totally violated. Never returned and out of respect for a person who was also a patient, I simply never went back.
