Good luck trying to get an appointment for anything medical. However, if you want an appointment for weight loss they will see you right away. Oh, and don't bother using the online appointment system because the front office people will change your appointment time, then not contact you and blame you for being late to the appointment and refuse to see you. And if you need to see a specialist you will need to fight them. Dr Knopke seems to think he can do it all... he can't, he botched a mole removal on my husband and left huge hole in his back. When Dr Knopke finally caves and gives you a referral you will need to stay on top of the front office nurses to make sure it gets submitted to the insurance or that Dr Knopke even wrote the referral at all. The last referral I got I had to call the Network and file a complaint to get anything done. The only decent bedside manner you will get is from the PA. If you see Dr Knopke he barely makes eye contact and types away at his computer like a… muppet. If he wants to be a weight loss specialist then stop pretending to be a family practice Dr. I'm so glad I switched Doctors.

dr carl knopke is a very good doctor and the staff are very good

Having had medical problems for the past 40 years, I seen and been seen by more doctors than I can remember. Dr. Knopke and his staff have always appeared to be friendly yet professional and respectful. He appears to be as knowledgeable or more so than any General Practitioner that I have encountered. Where previous doctors had dismissed an on going certain of mine, he addressed the problem and treated it even though I hadn't even brought up the issue. I thought that nothing could be done about that problem. He does the follow-up tests needed to verify possible diagnoses and has not hesitated to refer me to a specialist. I have been to doctors who are generally on time, yet appear to have the same limited number of minutes to address my concerns whether its a simple cold or life threatening condition. Although on occasions, I may have to wait to see him, I accept the delay. I know he will give me all the attention I need, when it is my turn.
