Dr. Carl Wade Peters JR., MD

I have been going to Dr. Peters for 35 years. I have never had to wait over a few minutes to be seen. His staff is very courteous and pleasant. Dr. Peters is very professional and takes time to answer all your questions and concerns. He never tries to rush you out of the office. I have recommended him to many friends. Dr. Peters is the BEST !!

The doctor himself had always been helpful but the staff (Laura, the nurse)are rude and treats patients inhumane. I'm consumed with work all I do is work on my phone and I had a conference call( which I warned them About on the phone) that my job takes seriously . i arrived an hour early for the appointment with Dr Peters but he was away in vacation and the staff was the only purple there. The staff tried to get me to go on early and I would have but thenurse snapped at me and told me I couldnt be on my phone in the office I said"I sorry,this is important I'll just wait till my appointment time" she got mad another woman asked what I said and I could here the nurse rant to her saying obscene things and taking my words out of context. They waited till my appointment time called me back I was finally done. I tried to apologize profusely for having been on the call that was mandatory laura shook her head didnt respond the nurse gave. Me a shot and than proceeded to tell me " your welcome"… when I didnt even say thank you.... They have very bad attitudes. For the profession they have chosen I'm appauled at how badly they chose to act that day

The red haired lady is so rude! Not only was she rude to me when I asked a question about the paperwork and insurance, I could hear her on the phone talking very down to someone asking directions to the office. I am a superviser for a well known company in the area and I would NEVER allow an employee to speak to anyone like that. Dr. Peters deserves better.

I was satisfied with Dr. Peters services until I received my bill. Amazingly, I was able to get an appointment within a week as the other dermatologists in the area were not able to accept new patients for at least two weeks. I didn't think much of it at the time however, now it makes sense as to why he was able to accommodate a new patient so quickly. I was overcharged for services he provided and when I called the office to get clarification and an explanation about my bill, the staff was extremely rude, defensive and actually hung up on me. I have great insurance coverage and the ability to pay my bills but I don't agree with over-charging and over-billing patients and insurance companies.

I think that this is the best office I have visited. the staff is very courteous and caring. They go the extra step to work with you and your schedule. Dr.Peters was on time and listened to everything I felt was important to me. He addressed all of my concerns with ease. He was able to alleviate all of my worries. I have never had a more pleasant visit with a physcian

The ease and efficiency of getting an appointment is due to Dr. Peters' focus on moey, not competent care. He is shameless.
