Dr. Carl B Pettigrew, DO

when dr. pettigrew came into the exam room he got to within six inches of my face and started asking me questions. although we were both masked up, he was hig hihly inappropriate in his actions. considering the delta variant and social distancing guide lines. He made me extremely uncomfortable with his actions and questions. he asked me two questions during the exam that had nothing to do with the exam and everything to do with my lawsuit. he gave me the impression that he was trying to be confrontational. not to mention that his office was like stepping back into 1972. exposed brown brick walls with dark brown cork ceilings. not sure if there were more stains on the ceiling or carpet. the coffee table in the waiting room was bare, no magazines only a gnarly scratch running the length of the table. Looked like the guy had not spent one penny on his office in 50 years. his place was nasty and so was his bed side manner. yikes!

Horrible Dr totally insurance company Dr wants to see the worst in patient

I went to this clown with a bad rug this morning and he was every bit as bad as his worst reviews and then some. He lied about what my doctor reported and asked me questions that had nothing to do with the case. He's a liar and a crook and nothing more than a Hack for the worker's comp insurance companies.

This doctor blatantly lied in his report on a workers comp case- he said the complete opposite of what the surgeon said as well as what another workers comp physician I was sent to prior to being sent to this man.

Had the insurance company send me to this doctor for their medical report for a workman’s comp case. The nurse was very nice and respectful no issues there. Answered her questions then went in to see the doctor. Every question he asked I answered as honestly as possible and he just smirked almost everytime like it was all a big joke to him. I can see why insurance companies send people here to be evaluated, because this guy obviously doesn’t care about the patients best interest but only the insurance money he will get from his so called “evaluation”. Best of luck to anyone sent here, prepare to be dehumanized by a terrible doctor.

I had a bit of a wait but Dr. Pettigrew was always professional and actually explained everything he needed to do. The staff was also welcoming..

Not a fan of this doctor or staff. Go somewhere else if possible!!!

In and out in an hour. First I spoke to a nurse and answered questions pertaining to my accident, then saw the dr, then had an xray. Everyone was nice. The dr was friendly and even laughed at a couple of comments I made during conversation. I dreaded the visit due to all of the bad comments but it all went just fine.

I was scheduled for an early appointment. I was made to wait on the doctor for hours. The man has the worst bedside manner. Also didn't listen at all. The had to wait for exays for hours during the time he took me in a room which no nurse present took my cane and tried to push me around in different ways saying it was apart of the evaluation. Then to top it all off. His report was non-factual and riddled with errors. He even made a few things up. This doctor needs his license pulled.

I was sent for a worker's comp follow-up by the employer's attorneys. It was BLATANTLY apparent that they were trying to make my visit as difficult and unpleasant as possible. The appointment was scheduled for 9 am and I informed them of another appointment at noon. After waiting for over an hour, the nurse who interviewed me was incredibly redundant or forgetful, asking the same questions 5-6 times. When I finally got to the exam room it was 11:35, so I reminded the nurse that I had an upcoming appt and the latest I could be there would be 12:15...she said he would be right in and it and it would only take a couple minutes for the exam. At 11:55, I called my attorney's office and they told me to reschedule the exam portion. I stepped into the hall and found the nurse...after some back and forth of her suggesting I wait so I wouldn't have to go through the WHOLE process again (what a joke!!!) to which I said not possible, she stepped in the hallway where I heard Dr. Pettigrew say, "No!… We are going to MAKE her to it again!" When she came back in I said, "I thought you said he was with a patient!" So I left...the front desk was very kind, but the policy is that the attorney has to has reschedule. Dr. Pettigrew is a PURPOSEFUL A-HOLE...he gets a kick out of wasting the time of those who he is paid to evaluate. Employer's attorneys choose this criminal (check out his past) for very obvious reasons. I would rate him all ZEROS if I could.
