Dr. Carl J Saphier, MD

Yes the wait time is long- so don’t be in a rush. Normally this would drive me nuts but oddly enough it doesn’t because he is so thorough, caring, clear, very educated, and understanding that I’m like whatever- you get what you pay (and wait) for. Extremely knowledgeable, extremely good bedside manner. Called me with results at like 8pm one night, called me another evening to CHECK ON ME after giving me nerve wracking news that morning, and personally called or texted me EVERY DAY when my child was born and spent a bit of time in NICU. If you’ve ever interacted with a physician… ever… you would know this is unheard of! Look no further.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Saphire. I go to him as a referral from my OBGYN and was told by my doctors even before meeting him that he is one of the best and should there be anything wrong with my baby, he'd be the one to find it. Sure enough, at my 20 week anatomy scan he found something wrong with my babies heart and has been by the side of my husband I the entire time. Not only did he refer us to the best Cardiologist, but he texts/calls to check-up on us and refer us to the right people. His visits are NEVER rushed and he is so thorough. I literally can write pages on how wonderful he is as a human and doctor. I wish all doctors were more like him!!

Dr. Carl is the BEST OBGYN there is. There is no reason to look any further, you have found the doctor you want right here! From the moment I found out I was pregnant, I was a nervous wreck. The thought of delivering a baby was quite stressful for me, as I imagine it is for most. That coupled with my "white-coat syndrome" made my nerves go through the roof. Enter Dr. Carl. Nerves suddenly disappear. His personality and bed-side manner are exactly what I needed. He always made me feel extremely comfortable and at ease. I would actually look forward to my visits because he always had some sort of story to tell that would make me laugh! As far as office visits go, yes, there is always going to be a wait. But I see this as something positive, not negative. There is a wait because Dr. Carl is extremely thorough. He takes his time with each and every patient and makes sure to explain things in detail. I never felt like my exams were being rushed. When you're waiting in the waiting room, sure… it can be annoying. (Bring a book!) When you're the patient in the exam room, you are very happy knowing your doctor is taking his time to walk you through everything. There is literally no one else I would ever trust to deliver my baby. He is the most knowledgable, well-educated doctor. If I could give him a million stars, I would. I am sad to see someone below leaving a 1 star review because she had to wait 50 minutes. If you didn't even see Dr. Carl, that is not a fair review. And as for the office itself, yes, it is in an old house. However that is not at all a reflection on level of technology that they have or modern service that they provide. I would (and have!) recommend Dr. Carl to everyone!

As there is no option for zero stars, 1 is being used generously. I had a 3pm appointment and arrived 10 minutes early. As I was walking in one older lady was walking out. There was no one else in the waiting room my entire time there. Although my appointment was for 3pm, I patiently waited until 3:50 and still wasnt seen nor given an explanation as to why I had not been seen yet. This doctor wasted my time and the receptionist gave the excuse that the doctor was busy with patients when I went to inquire about the long wait. Might I add there was no one in the office. I left work early for nothing and received no apology as well. Btw- Be aware that the office is in an old house that is still set in the 70s with old red shag carpeting and wooden walls. The decor is also severly outdated and in need of a 21st century makeover. It was a little creepy to be honest and I wondered if this place was equipped to provide modern obgyn care. If time, respect and modern care matter to you, I would… suggest you seek another practice. This place lacks all of the above.

Dr. Saphire is more than competent. I have had the pleasure of having him as my ob for 6 months now. I am high risk so I really needed someone who is good and he's amazing! Hes work is proficient and he explains everything to me and my husband. I would highly recommmend him. Yes, the wait is long but to see him but it is so worth it.

Dr. Saphier provided prenatal care for my two pregnancies and I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. I was referred to him by another doctor and was so happy when I was accepted as a patient. Due to his care I have two beautiful healthy children. His staff are also so caring and professional. I recommend him to all of my friends.

We were lucky to have Dr.Carl as our MFM specialist during the worst crisis of our lives. His office is outstanding and Dr.Carl not only gives hope but strength with his positivity and pleasant personality. His office is unlike any other OB's office but rather homely yet professional, patient and humble right from the reception to the nurses to the financial team. Dr.Carl gave us a minimum of 45 mins of undivided attention during each of our visit. During emergency delivery he guided us throughout took the right calls for the safety of our baby who was born at 25 weeks. He delievered our baby with so much care and ease. Post felivery he made sure he kept in toich with us about my health and the baby too. He kept in touch with nicu too to get a word on how the baby was doing. He was God sent for us and we couldn't have asked for a better doctor. Our baby thrived and is with us now in perfect health. DR.Carl is gracious, humble and all other qualities you would want in a doctor. Rare… find.

Dr. Saphier spends quality time with his patients thoroughly answering each question or concern. This results in longer wait times to be seen but you can rest assured when it's your turn he is going provide the same attention and quality time.
