Dr. Carl Edward Weimer JR., MD

Dr. Weimer absolutely cuts you off when you’re trying to speak. He very much has an attitude that you don’t know what you’re talking about when you’re discussing your own skin. If you are allergic to a product and you tell someone that, they should not keep suggesting it. He has a demeanor that you’re almost wasting his time by being there. If you show up with results, he takes credit even if you’ve been seeing other people for other services. Unfortunately this is really the only option for me right now, but I always leave the office feeling so bad about myself because he makes it sound like I just absolutely have the worst skin in the world. I dread going and can’t wait to get out of there every single time.

I see some of these reviews saying doctor Weimer is rude. That hasn't been my experience. From visiting his staff and office a few times I can clearly tell he's a navy military veteran from the decor and has been a dermatologist for a very long time. He's professional and to the point. I've asked questions and he answered them with detailed explanations. He is very straight forward so some snowflake people may find that rude but it's the kind of interaction I prefer. He's cured my wife of a few skin conditions. She's always felt very comfortable with both him and his staff. He's earned our loyalty and will be back with any future issues that require his services.

I went for my first appointment today and I like Dr Weimer very much. I read some other reviews here that were negative. I spoke to the Doctor and asked questions and he explained everything. That's what I like most. Some Doctors never talk to you or tell you what they are doing. He is very knowledgeable and I think he is a nice man

I've been going to Dr. Weimer for the past 3 years and would estimate that he has frozen over 50 pre cancers and surgically removed at least 6. He is highly professional, explained the procedures and why they were needed. When a surgery is larger than he feel comfortable doing in the office he does not hesitate to refer me to a surgical center that handels more complex surgeries. He is my Dr. and will be as long as he practices.

As a patient of Dr. C. Edward Weimer, Jr., of Weimer Skin Clinic in Myrtle Beach for the past 2 years, my appointment with him yesterday will be my last. Dr. Weimer consistently interrupts you when you're trying to discuss your skin condition concerns. He refuses to listen and will not let you speak one word about your health or anything. Instead, he will rudely accuse you of interrupting him and not letting him speak! Dr. Weimer is arrogant, oppressive and verbally abrasive. As a dominant, he tries to break you into submission. I refuse to be treated in such a derogatory and unprofessional manner. Dr. Weimer's treatment of patients is appalling and should not be tolerated. Well I have news for you Dr. C. Edward Weimer, Jr., you're fired!

This doctor does not like you to ask questions. He gets very defensive, and by that I mean down right mean and nasty. If you do ask a question, he likes to rattle off medical terms, dates, etc. He talks incessantly on and on, usually in a very demeaning tone. Dr. Weimar used to be a good doctor, but he has lost something very important and that is compassion for his patients.

Unethical business practices along with an unprofessional staff. It takes a month or longer to even see your doctor and once you do you are rushed out the door. No consideration for the patients only the amount of patients that walk through their door. The experience was so bad that I immediately made an appointment with another dr. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

This doctor is extremely difficult to work with. He's arrogant and rude. I thought doctors were supposed to care about their patients. This one sure doesn't. He runs his mouth incessantly, and he makes no sense most of the time.

What of waste of time and money!!!! Don't go!!!!!!!!

Excellent Physician and I see a few. Not an assembly line Dr. I strongly recommend.
