Dr. Carla Jean Siegfried, MD

I have been seeing this doctor since I was a kid! Now that I'm an adult I have come to truly value her personalized customer service. She will not only be attentive to my questions and concerns, but she goes the extra mile and remembers our past conversations. I can find no flaws with this doctor and truly value her services!

I have known Dr. Siegfried for many years and always thought of her as a competent doctor so I don't know if my recent experience is her fault or her office/system. I was diagnosed by Dr. Siefgried with optic nerve damage. She asked me to return for pressure tests every two hours for one full day. I did this and the nurse told me each test was normal. After hearing nothing for 10 days about how Dr. Siegfried wanted to proceed, I started calling. I finally reached someone who told me that Dr. Siegried wanted me to change my eye medication. I WASN'T ON EYE MEDICATION. So she said that I was to start one drop a day in my RIGHT eye. The damage is in my LEFT eye. Then I asked why I was using a drop for pressure when my pressure tests were all normal. She did not have an answer. When I said I was uncomfortable with the call, she said she would have Dr. Siegfried call within 24 hours. I never received that call. I decided to get a second opinion and asked for my records to be… sent to the new office. Nicole from Dr. Siegfried's office said she would send them immediately. A week later I called the new office and they had not received any records. I called back and Nicole said she would send them. This time nothing was sent past 2016. The new office called 4 times and I also called back again being reassured by Nicole that they would receive the latest records. They never did. I had to repeat all the tests I had recently taken at Dr. Siegfried's. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the quality of care I received from Dr. Siegfried and her office. Barbara Slavkin

I have been going to Dr. Siegfried for 9 years to treat my glaucoma. She is very knowledgeable. She is conservative but not afraid to act if that is in your best interest. Have gad 5 procedures with wonderful results. Very, very caring and involves the patient in any decision making.

Dr. Siegfried has taken care of me for glaucoma through many operative procedures. She is a fine surgeon and a caring, compassionate person.

Best doctor I have ever been to. And I go to a lot. She is amazing and very special.
