Dr. Carlan Kent Yates, MD

Dr. Yates, and Dr. William grana did a knee surgery on me in late 1982. My knee has held up very well all these years, and just now starting to have some troubles with it, but I’m no spring chicken today either. I will definitely see Dr. Yates when it’s time to have this knee looked at once I’m closer to retirement.

I started with Dr Yates in 1988 when my son had surgery. After Dr Grana left then I went to him. He has done 9 knee surgeries on me (still trying to keep them) and my shoulder. He is the one I want to fix my bones and joints. I never had a problem. Now seeing over my hip. Yikes, he did warn me about falling on my hip.

Dr Yates did both of my shoulder surgerys and recoveries were GREAT! Would recommend him to anyone!

This man is a miracle worker. Not only will he fix it right the first time,but he will always repair other doctors screwups. I know personally. Get your life back, and enjoy it. You don't have to live in pain

Wonderful physician

Dr. Yates did knee surgeries on both of my 15 year olds knees. I was so worried and did much research. Dr. Yates is simply incredible. I can not say or write enough on these pages to express how amazing this doctor is, and perfection is his expertise. He communicated on a level the ordinary could understand, gave his personal cell number in case of questions or concerns after surgery. He made personal calls to me and my husband after hours before surgery to answer a list of questions we had during the difficult deciding time determining if this was the right choice for our son. He was very honest and told us the positives and negatives and even that he would never want any of his own children to have to experience this surgery due to the severity. He did not candy-coat any of the information and initially tried to convince us to not rush into surgery as a fix. We followed his advice, but as our son's condition worsened it became apparent surgery was imperative. Dr. Yates is… surprisingly a listener, great communicator, and compassionate. This is a rare find in my experience with doctors today. I could go on and on about this man, but I'm sure you get the picture.

Injury led to surgery which Dr Yates performed. He maintained strict recovery and therapy regimen which resulted inoutstanding results. Dr Yates took time to answer my many questions, never feeling rushed. Many thanks to Dr Tares for putting me back together!
