Dr. Carlos Alberto Cowley, MD

Dr. Cowley is an outstanding cardiologist. He is thorough and cares a lot about his patients. He takes the time to explain thing in terms that I can understand. He also has wonderful bedside manners, which is something you don’t see often these days! Plus, his friendly staff makes me feel at ease during my visits.

This is a Compliment for Karen, Dr. Cowley's office manager. This my second visit to the office to drop off my initial paperwork, referral etc. for my up and coming first office visit with Dr. Cowley. Today, Karen noticed me standing at the front desk and greeted me like an old friend. A simple act like this goes a long way in making a new patient feel as if they made the right decision in choosing Dr. Cowley. How a patient both new and old are treated by the staff has an effect on the office's reputation.

By far the most helpful office i have ever come across! They're so caring, they go out of their way to help with any situation.

Wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone! Doctors may be OK, staff are the worst of the worst. I have been sadly neglected where my life is at stake. Not sure if the staff, the doctor, or both, are at fault - they should be reported for malpractice? This may still happen? A friend landed up in the hospital because of being over medicated! Not a happy situation to be in - I'm getting out!

Dr. Cowley is very good, his staff are impossible to deal with. They do their best to put patients off who want an appointment with the doctor and even prevent us from talking to him. Cannot get an appointment in anything under 3 - 4 months, Gloria tries to refer present patients to other doctors and tries to act as doctor! This is unacceptable, I want a doctor's opinion and not one from a technician!! I have no option but to give up seeing Dr. Cowley because of his staff, Yemie is no better, and this is an awful shame. I am sad to have to search around for another Cardiologist when Dr. Cowley is so good.

Most pleasant doctor (besides being highly efficient), and his staff are the best EVER!! Gloria and Yemi went out of their way to be helpful, pleasant, courteous, patient, and it has been absolutely great to deal with everyone in this practice. Dr. Cowley was there for me after hours as well, called me back when I left an urgent message. I have recommended him AND his staff to a good few people and will continue to do so.
