Dr. Carlos Manuel Juarez, MD

I recently had an appendectomy with Dr. Juarez. When I asked why we had an appendix, his sarcastic response was, "So I can make money." I had questions and was genuinely interested in educating myself on the procedure and he seemed like he couldn't be bothered. As a Doctor you should want to educate your patients and not talk to them in a condescending manner. Initially, I thought perhaps because we were in the hospital setting, he was short on time, but this was the case at the follow-up appointment in his office as well. The office staff, while friendly made a lot of grammatical errors with correspondence and my note to take me off work was handwritten. Could be improved and more professional. Regarding the actual procedure, everything went well. A positive was that he did give me the option of having the incisions below the bikini line. I appreciated that. Overall, I appreciate what he did for me, but given a choice, I would not elect for surgery with Dr. Jaurez… again.

Doc Juarez demonstrates great experience, has a great personality, and a great sense of urgency. I recommend !

Seems rude when you try to explain any complications you are having. Ignores some of your questions. I am disappointed and scared since I've had so many complications after my surgery.

Dr. Juarez is very proffesional. I have ben seing him for almost a year. I was refered by my general practioner for bariatric surgery. I am very happy with the results and would deffenity refer a friend to dr. Juarez.

Dr. Juarez, Angie & the rest of the staff are terrific! They are always very helpful & can answer any questions I have. I feel truly blessed to have found them. Dr. Juarez is, I think, the best surgeon you can find for bariatric surgery! He truly cares about his patients. And it amazes me. Of couse I give lots of thanks to Dr. Juarez! But if it wasn't for Angie, all the things I needed to get together pre op surgery for my insurance would've been a struggle. I love her professionalism! Dr. Juarez and his staff have been a pleasure to work with. I recommend him highly to anyone who is looking for an experienced surgeon who cares about his patients!

Partner was out for the week... which may explain long wait (50 min. on my initial visit ) Dr. got the relevant facts, double checked with an oncologist regarding the proper treatment, and got me in for surgery the next day, before a two week trip I had planned. Surgery was right on time, neat and, happily, ZERO pain after I came out of general anesthesia.. (At Renissance Surgery Center)
